Forgive me if this has already been posted. I don't get this guy.
What brief time he was in my Spanish class over the summer, I thought it would be cool to sneak up behind him and yell "We're down by 4 driving late in the 4th!!" to see if he'd drop his books.
overshadowed by my disgust with him
Honestly, on the chart of things I dislike about this season, Arian's personality around reporters doesn't even make the page.
Good memory you got there...It reeks of not caring how bad his season and the team's season is going. I know it's just with the media and he may not like them, but remember when Arian was talking to Rucker about "the Dog" and how he had it and Wes didn't?
Well it looks like Arian's dog got neutered this season, he's all bark, negative bite.
Does Rosetta Stone make a Pterodactyl Edition?
Mainly it reeks of people just not getting a joke. I don't know why we have to parse every comment for deeper meaning.
The current crop of sports writers isn't likely to come up with a Rosetta stone for sure nor even begin the approach the high level of journalism produced by the likes of a Grantland Rice or a Fred Russel to name a couple.
No, today the cheap pot shot is the order of the day, interspersed with grammatical mistakes that shouldn't even be found in a fourth grade essay and oozing with an unearned intellectual arrogance taken from some fantasy world in which they believe their power of the pen entitles them to rule the world, or in this case the sports world.
I will drop them one clue, if they work for the Tennessean which is a Gannet company, they would be well advised to demand to actually see the real contract that determines what their eventual retirement settlement will be, those pretty brochures that promise the moon aren't worth a sheet of used toilet paper in a court of law, ask any law student for that fact.
Anyway the Tennessean just went from $.50 to $.75 a copy and it was way overpriced at $.50.
