"Arjei won't be updated for a couple; he's still taking a class. So whenever the end of that class is. But I don't think that's for like, we wouldn't; I don't think they're expecting him, honestly, until the first day of school. It should happen well before that, but that transition, like it wouldn't be a whole lot of... it would just kind of be like, 'Hey, I'm here,' but end of training camp type of deal."

Wtf is Mullen even saying here

I think the difference between this year and last is that last year we could kind of see the direction the class was going. We already had 5 star Morris in the fold. We were in deep battles for Henry and Crouch, and we all knew that Wright was a Vol lock. This year we don't have a 5 star, and we certainly don't have a silent 5 star running around like Wright last year. In fact, there's only a handful of guys that we are all probably confident end up Vols in the end: Hardy, Baron, Eason, Robinson. Other than that, it's hard to see the direction the class is going. I mean, if we land a few of Gilbert, Washington, Smalls, Sewell, Jarrett then the class is outstanding. Miss all of them, and its probably not going to be a great class at all.

Hit it right on the head.

sort of. we were in it for Henry and crouch kinda like we are in it for Washington, Arki, Swell, Smalls etc....and while we don't have a bonfide 5* yet, we do have Bailey and Lawrence, both of whom are recruiting for us as well.

and don't forget the whle pappoe, bogle, and that other DL that went to Bama...we got disappointed last year too.

Baron is like this year's Wright.

i guess it just depends on how you want to look at it, but i kinda feel like this class is going a lot like last year's tbh. biggest difference to me is the no 5*, and i think at this point last year we had a couple more already in the boat.

but even after the ESD last year, there were a lot of people bemoaning the class and talking about how top 15 wasn't good enough, then we closed with Wright and HT and were basically a top 10 class (now literally, thank you very much FL).

now is the time for patience. the biggest selling tool we have has yet to come to fruition. the season. we need to see how we do this year, and whether or not the on feild product turns in to the tool we need it to be to close a few of the guys that are in wait and see mode.

Just imagine if we lose to BYU

Ending the season the way we did opened the door for bigtime negative recruiting. Which we're getting, from every SEC school.

Recruiting was, in some ways, easier last year. Pruitt had a clean slate and could sell hope. Now the slate has bad losses to half the SEC, including Vandy, and he has to convince recruits that the program is getting ready to surge forward... while other coaches are telling the same recruits the exact opposite.

yep. and i think it's actually a positive sign that some of the bigger fish are still "available" so to speak, and still listening, and still keeping us in their "top whatever" lists.

we put a product on the field that's worth watching and i think we finish pretty strong....

Have. To. Win. If we don't, we're in trouble.

I’m sure that is true which means our class should look very similar to Auburns with them going thru the same type thing. The issue is it doesn’t look like it right now
