Jesus, here we go. Just because I haven’t given up on Folty doesn’t mean I put him on sort of pedestal. Nor does it mean I prefer one pitcher to the other

And while we’re here, I’m not yet comfortable with Keuchel in the playoffs. And I’m sure everyone but maybe 3 people aren’t comfortable with Julio. Soroka is showing some signs of tiring.

Point being, we still 100% need a frontline starter. Bullpen can be improved by kicking starters out there. Don’t pay relief pitcher prices and don’t acquire bums.

I’m fine with that arrangement if we get another starter. I think most people here would be fine with that.

Honestly didn’t see most of the fried start, a few days ago, but we were awfully quiet when he was shutting down the Brewers with those 1.5 pitches before he was pulled.

Gonna need Newk to actually get the tough lefties and not walk them like yesterday before Rhys “ballooned” one out of the stadium

Max is still our second best starter and I’m running him out there in the rotation. The slider is the key for me as it’s looked pretty good when he throws it

I’d prefer a frontline starter too, I’d love to get Thor and I’m still wanting Bauer if he’s traded. I still don’t trust Luke Jackson in the 9th tho 😬😬😬

Yeah, he’s a jackass for sure but he gives us a strikeout guy, something we don’t have on staff right now. And the stats on him are a little misleading because Francona has been running him ragged this year.

Anybody talking about Julio? Since you’re on the google machine, check the trend of Julio always outperforming his FIP and xFIP.

Gausman and Fried have the same WHIP and FIP. Chill out.
