Looked it up on UT's website earlier. Turns out, apparently the same person is still overseeing said site.
It's either not mentioned or is in some place other than FB news or FB calendar of events. Most aggravating and least linked source on the entire board.
Hell they can't even get our own roster correct. Amateur hour over there.

Can't remember which thread turned into the JG approval / disapproval thread, but in Ubben's latest piece for the Athletic (most valuable subscription I've got) about JG's and Peyton's relationship, he posted this comment in response to a readers comment:

"He seemed extremely comfortable today and he’s consistently been the most interesting voice on the team. Based on what I’ve been told, we can expect to hear from him a lot this season, a major departure from a year ago."

Ubben isn't one to sugarcoat things, and sometimes leans a little pessimistic at times. That comment caught my eye.

They're helping to prep him for NFL media imo

Well. He ain't in jail. If you were found guilty of that, your butt wouof be in jail.

Sounded like a garbage story the whole time by the cop. Typical Florida BS.

Not all guilty people or even those who may be partially culpable are put in jail. I have no idea what the real proof was, and no one here does either. To state one side or the other is just speculation on someone's part. Bottom line is that we are glad that he is back on the team.

I was never a fan of taking Kenneth George, so to me, the most interesting thing about this is the coaches had a completely legitimate reason to cut bait if they didn’t like what they saw since he has been on campus, but instead, have kept him around.

That’s good news for his future

Plenty of buzz around him getting some PT this year. Him vs Buchanan should be interesting. The more trusted guy or raw talented guy?

Did Franks do any better last year with a much better line?

Better than the previous year or better than JG?

Yes on 1st count. Certainly improved over 2017.

Undecided on 2nd count, but your qualifier is poignant. In absolute terms, FF did similar to JG (JG edged out in YPA, Total QBR, doubled FF in td:int ratio, 4% better in completion, FF edged out JG in Passer Rating). Given the difference in OLs and rush games, JG did far better. But I don't expect any media to actually do some deep research and judge with context and use their god given brains.

Here's a glance at the analysis I mentioned earlier. I'm training the model based on the past 5 years of data from ESPN FPI, S&P+, 247 talent composite, and a few other sources. I also took my first shot at factoring in my own coach ranking based on value-added for the other components. I've started testing the previous years results, and the model is actually doing better than Phil Steele/Athlon/SportingNews and others for the past few years, so I'm not feeling too bad about it.

I haven't factored in 247's talent composite yet for this year so I'm just rolling with the same values used for last year, but here's what I've got for the SEC:

Can you train my dog not to bark at the mailman?

Michigan is interesting to me. 1) They finally updated their offensive scheme and gave up that garbage 1970s offense for something new. 2) No more Urban.

Downside is may take time to implement new offense. But having a SR QB that used to play in Ole Miss's offense should help.
