It was always an uphill climb for him. But if 2008 and 2016 taught us anything, it is that we shouldn't completely rule anyone out. No one thought Obama or Trump would get any where near the White House unless they were invited by Hillary. And here we are.

Mark Hemingway writes at RealClearInvestigations that thirty-eight states have counties wherein voter registration rates exceed 100%, in violation of federal law. But the Justice Department has largely abdicated its responsibility to deal with the problem:

Los Angeles County has too many voters. An estimated 1.6 million, according to the latest calculations – which is roughly the population of Philadelphia. That’s the difference between the number of people on the county’s voter rolls and the actual number of voting age residents.​

This means that L.A. is in violation of federal law, which seeks to limit fraud by requiring basic voter list maintenance to make sure that people who have died, moved, or are otherwise ineligible to vote aren’t still on the rolls.

And the Golden State isn’t alone. Eight states, as well as the District of Columbia, have total voter registration tallies exceeding 100%, and in total, 38 states have counties where voter registration rates exceed 100%. Another state that stands out is Kentucky, where the voter registration rate in 48 of its 120 counties exceeded 100% last year. About 15% of America’s counties where there is reliable voter data – that is, over 400 counties out of 2,800 – have voter registration rates over 100%.​

His campaign says it is equal in scale to the Marshall Plan, which used the equivalent of approximately $100 billion at current value to rebuild Europe after World War II. Buttigieg says the program would be enacted alongside potential direct REPARATIONS for slavery, not in place of it.

The two-term mayor also supports a constitutional amendment to abolish the death penalty and intends to expand the Supreme Court and eradicate the Electoral College.​

2. Personally at least, he is the guy I am waiting on to run as a non voter. So I am going to jump on just about anything he does. Especially after that amazing letter
3. Didnt take your posts as a negative. He is just one of those candidates who doesnt play partisanship and I believe a lot of people would actually agree with him if they took the chance to look him up

I find it funny that Pete reaching out for a vote is treated differently than Donald doing the exact same thing. Or any other politician for that matter. Interesting.
