So far today you've started threads going after immigrants and homosexuals. Can't wait to see what you have in store for us tomorrow!
Her partner is Sue Bird of the WNBA's Seattle Storm (she played for UConn from 1999-2002)). A male heterosexual could do worse, I think.
I don't like it when athletes who are representing the United States in international competition use their platforms to make political statements... but let's face it, you are only on here insulting her looks because she hates Trump.
This shemale is a freaking joke and all about her own personal attention getting.....Looking past the whole dropping the flag on the ground incident (don't get me started on that) today's "Victory Parade" was about nothing but her and some other team members own personal political agenda. They took every chance they had to promote the equal pay stance and bash Trump. Then she is on stage acting like a drunk Miley Cyrus. She is a disgrace to the US and I know not all of the team is like her and the other few but I honestly can't remember ever having so much dislike for a US team and that's sad.
I come down a little on both sides of the fence with her and the soccer team. I have absolutely nothing wrong with what she’s saying or the stand she has taken.
I do think there’s a difference in platform. If she was using a platform supported by a private entity, such as a professional team, or her own time, then have at it.
However, as a member of a US national team, I think she would’ve been better advised to have been at least neutral during the World Cup. “I have many views and opinions on those topics, but right now I’m here with my teammates to try and win the World Cup for the United States.”
Maybe some would’ve seen it as a cop-out. But I imagine she would have overall gained a larger audience to her cause.
Oh, then it's working. Good for her.Old white guys get pissed and sales go up. Their soccer jersey sold out big time. Every time people get pissed about Nike sales go up. You get pissed and the younger demo buys. It’s actually funny.
She doesn't anger me. I find her offensive, and because of her position on the country and whining about pay it turned me away from any interest I might otherwise have had in the WC. I couldn't care less about her 10 remaining minutes of fame.
Do junior high PE coaches get fat Nike contracts? I guess we will find out
I could careless if she insults Trump, it's the cool thing to do if your a celebrity and I haven't said anything about the other 2,000 so called celbs voicing their opinions. It also has nothing to do with her sexuality so nice try again. Look at her during her speech and the event in NYC yesterday. She is always wanting the attention on her and every time they tried to honor one of her teammates she had to be front and center dancing and acting like a idiot. She's an attention whore plain and simple. For the record I think the whole dropping the flag was an ACCIDENT when they was caught up in the celebration but it still shouldn't happen, especially after you have protested our anthem and blasted our president and country.

Matt Birk had a 4.0 GPA at Harvard. He spent fifteen years in the NFL as a member of the Minnesota Vikings and the Baltimore Ravens. He was a center and a six time Pro Bowl choice. He was once named the Vikings' Man of the Year for six consecutive years. He was the 2011 winner of the NFL's Walter Payton award, an award that recognizes volunteer and charity work and excellence on the field. After the Ravens won the 2013 Super Bowl, he was invited with the rest of the team to the White House. He did not respond with profanity nor insults, but he did not attend. He said, "I have great respect for the office of the presidency." However, he explained that the then 44th President had asked God blessings upon Planned Parenthood and that he could not endorse that since he believed abortion took innocent human life. Matt Birk was not held up for praise by the national media, but he stood for what he believed and he dealt respectfully with those with whom he disagreed.
