What blows me away is the compensation. Could you even keep your job if you only got 25% of your decisions right? I can’t understand how 25% of hits when your up to bat is considered good and no remorse.

Depends on your industry average. Just can’t say that in a vacuum. A lifetime .300+ hitter with numerous years is normally a hall of famer.
 
Judging by the defensive formations and reactions, the USA is the most likely to leave a critical gap. Striking first is crucial.
 
It’s possible. But I suspect most of the early rounds of the playoff would end in double digit blowouts, much like the first round today. Not sure recruits get jazzed about that.
As opposed to just the championship game itself IF the right opponents got enough votes from the pencil necks.
