Media also predicted basket-vols to finish 13th a couple of years ago. Grade of slaw.
Yeah but everyone in and around the program thought that was a joke. This team is still weak at the lines of scrimmage and that’ll hold us back. That 2015 oline class killed us and butch never really recruited well on the dline. Got good players but never built depth

top schools, which he has not sent to me yet. a UT staffer also sent that tweet to me, so i'm assuming he's a target. he's a top200 4-star WR from florida.

I just bumped the thread. This staff is like G’s that work in silence like lasagna. Pretty sure that’s what my homeboy Little Wayne said.

Back down to 10 commits not including the long snapper. This years season is crucial for the success of the program. If we play well we will finish with a top 10 class, if not I'm concerned we won't have any momentum, and have to settle on lesser talent.

Wait and see mode

Yeah. Well we’ve been stomped by some bad Vandy teams. I feel like we’ve been in the twilight zone of SEC football for a while now....

We don't really have an edge against anyone except Kentucky now. Vandy doesn't fear us at all. Their guys expect to beat us and I'm worried our guys are about to start expecting to lose to them. We absolutely cannot drop another one to them because then it WILL become a "thing."

My 16 yr old red heeler/jack russell mix has congestive heart failure and an enlarged heart that is pressing up against his esophagus causing him to choke and gag. He also has horrible arthritis. We are taking him in the morning to have him put to sleep. He has been around since before my wife and I were married. He has been there for each of our kids coming home from the hospital. He has moved across the country and back with us. He has watched over and protected us from men with hats and beards for over 16 years. I'm not ready to say goodbye, but sadly the time has come.

I feel like this VN is part of my extended family. Please pray for my family as we deal with this. It doesn't compare to Bass losing his grandmother but I'll still take some prayers.

No sense getting upset over recruiting now. A lot of the guys we're going after are going to wait and see how fall camp goes and how the Vols look this fall. That's a good thing. For the most part, deciding now wouldn't be in our favor. And the coaches will be looking for under-recruited guys who have a strong season this fall-- guys not even in the discussion now.

Same thing in my house. Not quite to the point of putting him down yet, but he's taking more of the meds to control the cough and the diuretic isn't as effective as it once was. Almost 14. Don't see him being with us much longer. My deepest sympathies. Hard to lose a family member like that. Cherish the memories. For 16 years you were his life. See it through to the end.

Compare the way this staff goes about offers/camps compared to Butch.
Also how does the 19 class compare in terms of “look” factor compare to the kids Butch brought in.

Really sorry to hear this. Pets are family.

Didn't know about Bass' grandmother, but my sympathies there, too. No matter how much time we have, it's never enough.

That's why I never understood the rush to fill up the class before the season even starts. I like to get recruits just like anyone else but we will more than likely have a couple of commitments leave. Like you said there will be new faces we have never heard of or seen that will come on the scene and I can't wait to see who they are. I'll get excited when December comes for our first signing period. I hope we get at least as many early signatures as we did last December.

Sorry to hear that man. My wife and I just had to put our 9 year old lab down last week and we are still struggling. It’s a tough thing to have to do, they are family. Prayers sent your way.
