Cherry coke is really sweet, but it's good. Sonic cherry lime-aide is nectar from the gods.

I used to get the lime-aide slush at Sonic, that was good stuff. Sonic burger #2 and tater tots.

My mom used to make homemade ice cream often. She used Georgia peaches from my aunt and uncle when they sent them or we visited and that was something elsd, but for some reason her homemade banana was my Favorite.

We’d do ice cream suppers at church with the youth group for money. There was one lady, a grandma to three of the youth kids, but really to all of us, that made the best ice cream ever and it was peach. My best friend and I absolutely loved it. She’d bring a gallon to the event and tell my friend and I there was another just for us that she stored in the church freezer. That’s how I know God exists and that He’s a loving God.

Oh my Favorite is beer battered Spanish onions.

But just flour egg milk and bread crumbs, like Panko and hot oil make as good of one as there is.

Totally off the subject, we had Chicken Alfredo on the menu today. The reason I brought it up, it always tickles me to be able to show a young cook how to prepare it. I also just enjoy making it.

I love Alfredo sauce, but it’s often way too heavy (when we eat out). It’s as if there’s more sauce than pasta.

I make it when Hubs takes a break from pretending that he’s low-carb. Preferably on fettuccine or something else that can fight back, but anything will do in a pinch.

Just googled and found out there is a Sonic two miles from my work. I can count on one hand how many times I have been to one in the last 26 years, and I would probably have fingers left over.
