Please tell me y’all know of another cruit’ coming. If not color me underwhelmed. With all the buildup I thought we were getting a Sewell, Washington, Gilbert or Dumerville. Heck maybe a cruit’ out of left field like Burch.

I mean he is a good pickup...just not someone we should be doing cartwheels over.

Ok...got it out of my system...feel better now...just freaking commit King!!!!
If it had been Sewell, Bass would have never been able to keep it in.
He would have peed himself and ran straight to VN.

Followed shortly by me peeing myself and telling my wife "it's ok, we're getting Sewell"

WURD... my family calls small dogs "kick dogs" because if they bug you long enough you can just kick them out of the room or yard like a field goal...

My wife had a Maltese when we were dating and I said pick the dog or me, that if we got married, the dog was not part of the show... just celebrated 24yrs of marriage and have a rescue Pit.

Cats just blow....
DOOD...Your family sounds like a really well-adjusted group...nothing like being cruel to small animals. Sounds like your wife made the wrong choice.

Guys, I don't know how many of you have played ball before or how many are just fans. I would like you guys to tell me what you love about it so much.

I'll tell you what got me hooked. I was lucky in a couple ways. I got to play in college and get an education, but the thing I remember most about playing ball happened while I was in high school.

My Jr year, our kickoff returner/star rb hurt his ankle. They threw me in as the deep man for kickoff returns. I returned the kick about 50-60 yds against A-E. It was awesome, but I never expected the surprise I got.

You play ball and you always see people in front of you. Who are you gonna tackle? Who are you blocking? Etc. I never knew the freedom of seeing 60 yards of football field wide open, in the middle of a game, nothing but end zone ahead. It's such a weird feeling to see a completely empty field and know so many people are fighting behind you on both sides of the ball. Crowd goes silent in your head. You feel everything and nothing at the same time.

My first one, I got tackled before I scored. I was lucky. It's amazing how much that pisses you off.

Anyway. I do live vicariously through UT now, still chasing that high of seeing the big play.

Any of you morans know what I'm talking about?

No more recruits this cycle. I think I heard Pruitt say they are only taking 12 or so. He’s targeting a roster of about 60-65 scholarship players going into his pivotal year 4 season.

Good lord. I’m at this Christian marriage conference. It’s fkn horrendous. The things you do for your wife.

We went through an atheist marriage conference entitled “Finding meaning together in a meaningless cosmos.”

Had side sessions on “Relating to your spouse while knowing their consciousness is just an illusion caused by lots of synapses firing at once” and “Remember, your children are fundamentally just clumps of biological material.”
