Pete has a future in politics. If it ain't 2020, it is 2024, 2028, etc. He's polling well in South Carolina, a predominantly African-American primary electorate. He's doing extremely well considering last year no body knew who the hell he was, including me.
Kamala will be in the thick of it as well. I know everyone on here hates her, but this is a skewed perspective since it is like 80% Red Hats. She would be a disaster for Trump. The reason she did so well in the debate is because she is a former prosecutor, DA, and California AG. She's spent her life arguing with people. She will completely destroy Trump in a one on one debate.

That's fine. I'm just saying their service gives them character points that our current and last few Presidents didn't have. Not saying it makes them Presidential material, but they didn't dodge service. From what I read about Gabbard, she actually stepped down from office to go and serve. I respect that. Doesn't necessarily mean I think she should be President, but I admire her willingness to serve when called.

Once again, you underestimate Trump. There is a reason he took down 16 Republicans and one big fish in the debates. Ted Cruz was a great debater, also. Trump took him down, too.

JMO, but I think Kamala could give Trump a run for his money in a debate. Being a woman opens up a lot of possibilities for attack given Trump's past comments.

I did underestimate Trump before he was elected. Hillary made him look like an idiot in the debates. And that was with her trademark "personality". And she lost.

Kamala is on a different level than Hillary. The general election debates probably won't matter much any ways, Red Hats are going to vote for him no matter what. All about turnout for progressives.

Trump could try that road, but do you honestly think it would be successful? I don't. I think it would backfire on him and make him look worse. Let's live in reality here. Trump has led a very public life for quite a long time. He's done and said a lot of misogynistic things. I think there's a good chance they get brought up in a debate with a woman. Trump then trying to slut shame her wouldn't play very well.

Not sure why it wouldn’t. I’m sure he could make a subtle jab to get the point across. I mean a woman that wants to criticize a man for allegedly being misogynistic but will gladly bend over for favors from those same men.

I don't think it realistic Trump would get the upper hand in that fight. But that's just my opinion. I think it could potentially get very ugly for Trump.
