I would but I can’t do “X” service. He’s so knowledgeable about even the lesser known recruits.

At a high level he did stress the importance of winning 7 or 8 games for credibility and I think we can agree with that. Personally I don’t think we can get there with our talent this year.

On the other hand he was asked an interesting question about why teams like UGA and Bama are negative recruiting us. We’re so insignificant why do they bother? Apparently, other coaches know what kind of coach Pruitt is and that if he gets his own players in here, then he’ll turn the East upside down. UGA and South Carolina are negative recruiting us hard. Miami as well but that doesn’t seem to matter.

Also said that we stay in it with big players due to a laid back but thorough approach. They stay in contact but aren’t pushy. Gilbert, for example, is being told by UGA and Bama to not visit Tennessee anymore. While we’re just staying in touch and not making ultimatums. It’s the long game.

well i'm actively trying to avoid working. i went and played golf yesterday and came back only find out blackshear is goinig to the turds.

maybe you should go read a book or watch a movie? i guess i'll go do something productive. damnit.

It really does feel like everytime someone pushes their F5 key the universe pushes back someone's decision.

We waited days and weeks for an OC decision, then Chaney came basically out of nowhere. Tee out of nowhere too.

yep. the good news, i'm mostly just joking around to get at bgs and bass since they whiffed yesterday and both have been haaaarrrrdddd on "insiders" in the past lol.

the other good news is that the freak out has been waaaaay off what it was during the OC search.

SIAP - I don't get the Phil Steele magazine but evidently he sees a lot of improvement in our team this year on both sides of the ball.

For the fans expecting the Volunteers to look like a new team next season, there’s some good news. Renowned college football expert Phil Steele, who is known for his extensive college football preview magazine, believes Tennessee is set to dramatically improve offensively in 2019.

Steele is expecting the Vols to average over 30 points per game next season, saying “With 10 starters back there is no doubt this unit is improved and my computer is calling for 30.6 points per game”.

Tennessee averaged 22.8 points per game last season (they ranked 109 out of 130 teams). They haven’t averaged over 30 points a game since the 2016 season, when they averaged 36.4 points per game.

Steele also thinks the Vols will be better defensively, mentioning that UT should have their best defense since the 2015 season (when they allowed only 20 points per game).

Yeah it feels good to be at a point of being comfortable regardless. We'll be fine either way.
