I would appreciate the prayers of my VN folks. We found out yesterday that my mothers "non aggressive" cancer has spread, and is acting totally against the norm for the kind she has. She has to start Chemo monday, and her doctors are trying to get immunotherapy approved also. Prognosis is 3-4 months without, and 10-12 with treatment if the treatment doesn't work. I am in a stupor, this was a sucker punch we did not expect. The docs had been extremely optimistic, and this was not supposed to happen.
Prayers sent!

Not delusional at all. I understand a kid that may not play pro ball, and they want to chase a title. But I don’t think it’s at UF this year.

We can simply disagree, but I don’t think it’s delusional at all. Mike White hasn’t produced a draft pick in the front court. I understand if KB was a high school player or a underclass transfer. Every player wants to ultimately get paid playing basketball. It’s his decision, and I hope we beat them.

Even if he makes the NBA he's still likely never going to have the opportunity to play in front of his family as much as he will playing at UF. UF is likely a better chance to get to the Elite Eight this season than UT, A&M or VA Tech too. White in 4 seasons at UF has reached the Elite Eight, Barnes still hasn't. White has also won at least 20 games every year he's been there. It's not a bad team or bad coach to play for, and ultimately as LA pointed out family wanted him home.

The only place he could have went with a better shot to win was Kentucky, and he likely would have gone from a starter to a role player same as Reid Travis.

Been away for a while. Hope everybody's been doing alright.

Anyone want to summarize what has happened in June for me? I know we picked up commitments from Mays and Lawrence, which is awesome. Seems like the 2020 instate class could be really strong for us. I don't know much about the other guys we picked up in June like Spraggins, Jenkins, or Green (even though he committed in May). But, in addition to recruiting news, any good team news? Coaching news?

TIA.
