He was taking gift cards meant to go to cancer patients because they were less traceable. So not even research but stealing from people suffering from cancer who needed financial assistance from the foundation he was in charge of. And it's not like he didn't have his own money. He was president of a large organization that I'm guessing paid him fairly well.

The details of Funes’ embezzling are quite wild. He was the CEO and president for the Our Lady of the Lake hospital system’s foundation and stole the half-million over a period of seven years. He took gift cards that were for people with cancer and also paid for trips to LSU and New Orleans Saints football games.

There are a few posters who have indicated that we had a very good weekend but most of it won't be announced publicly for a few weeks. And the people indicating that are people who would have some knowledge about the situation. If a domino falls at a bbq and volnation doesn't hear it does it make a sound?

His salary was listed at around $300k per year from the foundation.

Some recruits that camped or were at the cookout are going to take more visits or hold off deciding/announcing. Coaches and families have told recruits to enjoy the process and guys like Baron and Lawrence are doing that-- a little more than we'd like. There could be some announcements around, or soon after, The Opening.

I was going to say that anytime in the next couple of weeks would technically be "soon".

The show needed 10 seasons. Army of the Dead battle should have been a full season, Dany's descent into madness should have been a full season, and the siege of King's Landing/aftermath should have been a full season.
