After you commit to Clemson, they will pull your offer if you visit elsewhere
Marlin Lane nods in agreement.

And to be fair, Dabo and coaches who say this want the players to shut down their recruitments when they commit. Not just “hold a spot”. A lot of HS coaches won’t let their players commit until they’ve taken all their visits and come to a final decision.

New revelations expand LSU’s NCAA issues

For those that wonder why weird decisions and crazy things happen in recruiting.

This player who was a top 150 player. Like not even top 100 got 180k in 2012. You can imagine how much money is being thrown around.
The player was vadal Alexander. But the worst part is this booster was president of the foundation and stole $550k in donations for cancer patients to pay recruits and such. Absolute scum bag.

Then you are not in that "We", but I guarantee that someone or some agency that you have trusted has hurt you sometime in your life. We all carry those scars.

Maybe my ex wife but I wouldn't exactly call her an "institution" and now-a-days I don't even think about it. I'll drop it here. Rock on.

In my benefit of the doubt moment, I hope boosters were routing money through the organization intentionally to go to the players and this guy wasn’t literally taking money designated for cancer research

A big part of the bag man job is money laundering. This wouldn’t surprise me.

Haven’t seen it tested with the Trevor Lawrence’s and Tee Higgins level COMMITS yet. Bound to happen someday. Then we’ll crown him.
Apparently he has a "different set of rules for certain players"

The policy of course is implemented on an individual basis now, but it causes issues when some players are seen to have a different set of rules than others.

This year is a great example where Feaster and Cooper stretch the rule and take a visit elsewhere. Both continue to say they are committed to Clemson, but the truth is your commitment is not 100% if you are taking visits to other schools. And even if you say you are once you take other visits things can certainly change where that commitment percentage goes down.

Then we have Powell announcing this past week that he is "still committed to Clemson", but will take other official visits

I am kinda bummed. I really thought Cooper's commitment Friday afternoon was going to jump start the weekend. VQ mods was talking about dominoes beginning to fall and all that, but besides the kid for 2021 seems like all we have received is vague news on our other targets this weekend. Especially the Lawrence news really has me concerned. Yes I know the staff keeps things close and and VQ and other insiders are not getting fed much, but still sucks.
