While that would suck, it is a small victory that it keeps him away from all other SEC schools. I still find it hard to believe that he hitches his wagon to the unknown of what Mike Young will do for him at VT. If he stays there, it would seem that it is based purely on comfort level in Blacksburg independent of anything else.Sounds like to me he’s hinting he’s going back to va tech

I believe KB believes a year playing under Coach Barnes will be pivotal in his development. Its' not simply all about being a high draft pick, but in getting the best out of himself so that he succeed for the long-term at the next level.
THIS.Don’t listen to this guy. He is full of it. I’ve seen him posting numerous times saying similar things like, “As I’ve reported, I think UK is in a great spot with Blackshear and my sources lead me to believe they are a very real threat to land him.”
He’s taking all angles like most reporters that way he can say he was right.
THIS.
I have liked him over the past year or so because he seems to put in a lot of work, but he’s really been all over the map on Blackshear. And of late it’s been, commitment on his visit to UK is likely, this is a UT/UK battle with UK the heavy favorite, heading VT is a very real option here, and then today as I’ve reported the chances for Tennessee are very high.
Yup exactlyHe’s a solid reporter who has broken some actual real basketball news over the past year, but he’s as clueless on KBJ as most national media. He’s doing what reporters do which is throw their hat in the ring on big commitments and hope something he says sticks. He has no clue where KBJ is headed. Literally spend 2 minutes scrolling through his last 10 tweets and you’ll see 4 different perspectives on KBJ.
