2020 Presidential Race

No he wouldn't. There's to much money laundering under their name not to do it.

Well as BB said, women largely have a different association with PP than those who only think of it as an abortion portal. But from a political standpoint, he could, maybe achieve some gains. I don't think he's willing to take the risk, though.

I am glad BB's sister got the care she needed at that PP. BUT, she could have gotten the same care/treatment at multiple other places that DO NOT rip baby apart in the womb.

Possibly true, and Planned Parenthood wouldn't cease to exist even if Roe were overturned. My point is, those who associate PP with women's health, as opposed to strictly abortion, would only see defunding as an assault on women's health.

Politics plays heavy into this.

I don't like them giving any side money and them nonprofit.

You mean they would be TOLD to see it that way.

This will be an interesting move for him politically. Trump is facing a huge gender gap. Per "thehill.com", 62% of registered women voters have said that they were unlikely to vote for Donald Trump's re-election in 2020. So, it's not like his support among women can get much worse than it already is. He might just think that he is better off keeping the evangelicals energized and shoring up the base (even though it isn't soft).

Most of the people who are so adamantly opposed to Planned Parenthood don't realize that their primary functions involve general health care, cancer screening and prevention, hormone therapy, infertility services and STD testing and treatment. Abortion and birth control account for a small percentage of the total services that they provide... the average conservative and evangelical probably thinks that is all that they do.

The Trump-Clinton Gender Gap Could Be The Largest In More Than 60 Years

Chris Cuomo Had The Proper Reaction To Amy Klobuchar Saying Democrat Rallies Are As Large As Trump’s

Trump’s packed rallies are hard to ignore. The polls telling us that Trump is being crushed under the heal of the Democrat of the day can be thrown around till the cows come home, but it’s hard to square numbers someone gives you with numbers you can physically see.

As I covered on Wednesday, the attendance at Trump’s rallies is eclipsing the numbers seen at Democrat gatherings, even frontrunner Joe Biden’s. This fact is worrying for Democrats, and so far, only CNN’s Chris Cuomo is addressing the Republican elephant in the room.

In an interview with Amy Klobuchar on Wednesday, Cuomo asked the Democrat 2020 candidate up front why Democrats aren’t attracting the kinds of crowds Trump is. Klobuchar responded by flat out saying that Democrats are packing stadiums like Trump, it’s just that you don’t see it because there are so many Democrats.

“Why don’t Democrat pack stadiums the way this president does?” asked Cuomo.

“Oh but we do!” responded Klobuchar. “We just have a lot of stadiums we’re packing at the same time.”

Cuomo didn’t verbally respond, but the incredulous expression on his face spoke for him louder than words ever could.

Cuomo later admitted that he doesn’t agree with Klobuchar at all and that “size does matter.”

Scandals Involving Joe And Hunter Biden Are Becoming A Problem And The Media Have Finally Noticed

Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, has an extremely checkered historywhen it comes to business dealings and ethics. Not so much anything he did in those business dealings, but how he possibly got them. Namely, the implication based on serious evidence is that his father used his influence as Vice President to get Hunter some very lucrative positions in countries like Ukraine and China.

Until now, this has mostly been the domain of right-wing media. That was to be expected as anything that’s harmful to a Democrat is typically buried in the mainstream media.

We’ve now entered a different phase though, as the Democratic primary heats up and the debates start next week. Biden is not currently running against a Republican, he’s running against 20 (or so) other Democrats and those Democrats want to take him down. That means the media can’t just ignore what’s happening in unison anymore.

Case in point, this latest write-up by ABC News, which goes right at the heart of Joe Biden’s scandals involving influence peddling for his son.
In April of 2014, the then-vice president led a U.S. delegation to Kiev tasked with rooting out corruption and advocating for Ukraine to diminish its reliance on Russian oil. The Obama administration had pledged aid money to support a fledgling Ukrainian administration recovering from a revolution that ousted the country’s previous leader.

“You have to fight the cancer of corruption that is endemic in your system right now,” Biden told the Ukrainian parliament during the first of several post-revolution visits to the country. “And with the right investments and the right choices, Ukraine can reduce its energy dependence and increase its energy security.”

Within weeks of his visit, Ukraine’s largest energy producer, Burisma Energy, appointed Hunter Biden to a paid directorship on the firm’s board.

Just months before, in December of 2013, there was a similar episode when the then-vice president led an Obama administration effort to tamp down tensions in the Far East. Hunter Biden disembarked from Air Force Two in Beijing alongside his father, ahead of a series of meetings between the vice president and several high-ranking members of China’s ruling party. Upon his departure, Joe Biden called Chinese President Xi Jinping a “good friend.”

Within weeks of that visit, Hunter Biden was doing business there, as a participant in a firm called Bohai Harvest RST. The corporation formed a novel Chinese-American investment partnership that involved such Chinese state-owned firms as the Bank of China. Reports at the time said they sought to raise $1.5 billion.
The idea that all of that is just coincidence strains belief. The younger Biden was even on the trip to China. Two weeks later he’s getting a lucrative position with a Chinese investment firm that’s partnered with Chinese government owned banks. Come on.

Biden’s issues in Ukraine also go deeper than just his son getting a job out of nowhere. There’s also the admission by Biden that he threatened to withhold aid from Ukraine if they didn’t fire a prosecutor who just happened to be investigating the very firm Hunter Biden was working for.

Here’s the details.

I guess the best argument you could make for having bigger crowds at rallies, is that it could indicate which base of support is more energized and enthusiastic in support of their candidate... but I really don't think that there is any doubt that the Democratic base is energized in their opposition to Trump and will turn out in the election (which is still over 16 months away). So, I would neither completely dismiss it or make as big a deal out of it, as you seem to want to.

Controversial MSNBC Hosts to Cover South Carolina Convention
Al Sharpton and Joy Reid will be live on MSNBC to interview all 21 Democratic presidential candidates

Al Sharpton and Joy Reid will be live on MSNBC to interview all 21 Democratic presidential candidates after they give speeches at the convention on Saturday. The two, who are unabashedly pro-Democrat, host weekend shows on the left-leaning cable network.

South Carolina Democratic Party chairman Trav Robertson told the Associated Press that MSNBC was selected in part because of the key role of black voters in the state's Democratic primary. Reid and Sharpton are black, as are 30 percent of MSNBC's weekend viewers, according to the Associated Press. They've become mainstays at MSNBC in spite of considerable personal baggage.

Sharpton has refused to apologize for his part in the infamous TAWANA BRAWLEY case. Brawley received the support of Sharpton and other prominent black leaders when she claimed in 1987 to have been brutally raped and had racial epithets scrawled on her by white men, including police officers and a New York prosecutor, Steven Pagones. A grand jury investigation found Brawley fabricated the story, and Pagones successfully sued Sharpton for defamation, although the damages were eventually paid out by his supporters.

Sharpton also played a key role in the deadly 1991 Crown Heights riots, a tipping point in relations between New York's Jews and African Americans. Sharpton referred to Jews as "diamond dealers" in the aftermath of an accident when a Jewish man struck and killed a black youth and injured another with his car. He also led a march on the Jewish Sabbath where participants yelled anti-Semitic slurs; later, a group of young black men killed a Jewish student, Yankel Rosenbaum.

At a rally days before the Crown Heights incident, Sharpton said, "If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house."

Sharpton has also been beset by financial issues. He was indicted in 1989 on 67 felony counts of tax evasion, larceny and fraud, but he was acquitted on all charges. He did plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of failure to file state income tax. In 2014, the New York Times reported the IRS had more than $4.5 million in liens against him and his for-profit businesses.

Reid, who hosts AM Joy on Saturday and Sunday mornings, apologized in 2017 when a reporter revealed past homophobic posts on her defunct blog on Florida politics. However, she claimed to have been hacked and called for an FBI investigation when further homophobic, Islamophobic, and juvenile posts from the blog were revealed last April, despite their similarity to the posts she admitted months earlier to writing.

She ultimately apologized when media outlets found no evidence to substantiate her claims.

Nevertheless, on the April 28 episode of "AM Joy," she still did not take responsibility, saying, "I genuinely do not believe I wrote those hateful things because they are completely alien to me. But I can definitely understand, based on things I have said and have written in the past, that some people don't believe me."

Sharpton and Reid both once had weekday shows on MSNBC. Reid's short-lived The Reid Report was cancelled in 2015 due to LOW RATINGS, and Sharpton was banished to the weekend that same year for similar reasons.

I'm going to defend Sleepy Joe on this. It is clear that Biden is saying you may not like the guy you are working with but if that person is a colleague you have a responsibility to work together to solve problems and find common ground.

The far left agenda show you how bad identity politics have gotten. They are eating their own with race baiting. This is not a policy issue. This is twisting a person's words for political gain. They want to shut down freedom of thought.

I told you all that Biden would step on his dick (again). It doesn't take much of an opening for his far left opponents to go after him. The left is eating their own.

It's sort of hilarious to watch if it wasn't so serious. Joe probably feels like he's being beaten with beanbag filled socks.
