I am not sure how it plays into it, but there is a thing called HIPAA. My guess is that players sign something saying that injuries and medical issues can be released, but I am sure the player has input in that. As you say, these aren't professionals, and sometimes, families want privacy.

Edit: Sorry, I am WAY behind this morning. I see responses. Alot going on today.

It’s a good series. Definitely makes you think. The first book is the best, but I think the whole series makes for a great summer read.

If you like it, you may want to check out the “World Made by Hand” series. The writing is a bit flourishy, and it’s not quite as good as One Second After, but it’s worth the time.

Since we may be relying on some freshmen this year I thought I'd take a look at the guys who have made the All-SEC freshmen team since we went to a 14 team conference.

well, then you know you don't have to go downtown to find good places to eat down there. big fan of some of the places at Shem Creek and on sullivan's island. and if you're in the mood or in the area, i like Morgan Street grille on isle of palms at the marina.

downtown....just walk around and walk in any place you think looks good.

Tell me more about Morgan Street Grille. We have stayed on the Isle of Palms for years. In fact, we are leaving Saturday. But I have never been there and not sure I have heard about it.

Edit: You know, my wife and I may have gone once. Is it down near Wild Dunes?

How does this compare to other SEC teams? I wonder what the goal should be for us. Obviously more but is Alabama typically getting 2 or 3 per year on that list? Maybe they don’t have to play as many freshmen so their impact isn’t as important.

yes, down at the marina...it's VERY casual...nice little "beach bar" and restaurant....we went last year, i've been before. it's not 5* dining, but if you wanna get a beer and have some seafood pub grub, it's your spot.

Red's Ice House at Shem creek is cool too...a whole lot bigger than Morgan's, but it's at the marina, fishermen bring fresh caught fish up, and at a couple of the outdoor bars, they've got grills fired up....pretty cool.

By your take, we lose 5 in a row after Chatt.
That would be BRUTAL for fan interest and Recruiting.

i looked at this when he posted it. UGA and Bama both have the most, each having over 15 for the years shown. UF had over 15 too.

the interesting thing was the "when". i think of UGA's 15 total, 8 were from the last two years. UF, it was the opposite, they had like 4 or so from the last two years. Bama was pretty stead, 3-4 a year (it's right there, you can fact check me, i'm going from memory lol)..

we have 11 total.

not sure what it really means when all is said and done. i think it probably says more about the flexibility the more talented rosters have with putting freshmen in positon to succed vs. us who have had to rely on freshmen to produce, period.

anyway, the programs you'd expect to see to have a lot, do.

In year 2? CBJ had 6 wins (assuming everyone is talking reg season wins) and he had every opportunity to win the East in years 3 and 4. No need to put so much on merely year 2, especially given the massive hole Pruitt has started from.

He hasn't even had a chance to develop his own stud OL and now has to replace his entire DL all at once. I don't think that should be underestimated.

Hope we surprise all of cfb, but think we should relax if we struggle one more year. This staff is worth having patience for.

Thanks. My in laws’ place is on the other side of the island, but I think we have been there once. We now have 4 kids, so eating out is an adventure that we don’t do very often. Been to most places on Sullivan’s Island, various places in Mt. Pleasant, and do some takeout at places on IOP.
