I found the data on a CDC website.

In 2015, homicide rates were 5.7 deaths per 100,000 for the total population, 20.9 for non-Hispanic blacks, 4.9 for Hispanics, and 2.6 for non-Hispanic whites.

What's really weird is if you look at population breakdowns vs the crime in metropolitan vs non. The smallest brackets in both are the most dangerous. With the middle pops being the safest, and the largest in the middle as far as rates go.

By a few points over some others yes. The eye opener is how huge the rate drop is from Grp I to Grp II and especially to Grp III. Things look to pretty much level out Grp III to Grp VI.

Understood. I was pointing out the huge differences seen among the various city population groupings. The high/low rates between the counties is only 4.8/2.7. There is also 4x as many total murder/NNM incidents in the city groupings (13K) vs the counties. (3323)
