Bto said the Same thing?

Where ?
Lmao I didn’t, funny that Dallas says he has me on ignore but then claims I’m saying things???

I’ve questioned BurningOrange multiple times about Blackshear because he has consistently been posting very optimistic things and I haven’t been hearing nearly the same...not sure where Dallas got that from.

Well, I click the “view ignored” every so often. And if you’d check, I just said that I was wrong and that it was a totally different thread I was thinking of.

So which thread was it? Because I’m not sure what I’ve said recently that has turned out similar?

This is a little bit of a hot take but I feel this way. First of all anyone that’s followed my post over the years know I hate the grad transfer rule. I don’t like it and other than Texas tech it really hasn’t worked in most cases for programs.

Imo if Blackshear doesn’t add two more rounds to ours season then I would rather have our home grown players. That would set us up for the future better anyway. I just hate free agency in college athletics

2 more rounds meaning 2 more NCAAT wins?

I don’t entirely disagree with your general principle, but with the talk of Burns having multiple issues since his arrival I question if he would make it here regardless? If the answer is no then obviously keeping him doesn’t do much good and adding someone of Blackshear’s caliber is a definite upgrade, but if he’s taking the spot of someone who’s gonna stick around and be a multi year impact guy then I agree it’s more of a discussion.

We have seen Schofield and Hubbs turn similar issues around under Barnes. It could happen with Burns.

Yes two more ncaa wins

I don’t think he was in the dog house for breaking rules/breaking the law...I think his was more just not doing the thing Barnes wanted from him basketball wise.

No situation is ever the same but none the less 17-18 year old kids can change. I’d prefer seeing Burns turn things around than winning a few extra meaningless games with Blackshear. JMO

And I assume you have useful information to add? If so by all means you have the floor.
I have the same amount as you on this...none.

You have already said we were getting him, then changed that to "we have as good of a chance as the others." Then you act like he's going to cancel his UK visit, and when proven wrong, say "oh, that was just a guess and not from my source."

You're no different than all the Gruden rumor mongers. You expect us to believe you have better "sources" than Rob Lewis, Grant Ramey, Chris Dorth, etc. All of those guys get their info directly from the staff.

You are just guessing (probably based off of what you read on the internet), and if you're right, it was "your source." If you're wrong, "oh, things changed." And you didn't come out of the woodwork until his visit was already confirmed. You have yet to break any actual news.

In his defense he did say that Blackshear was visiting before Volquest or 247 reported it.

Hindsight is 20/20, but my guess is that Barnes and staff don’t feel the difference between Blackshear and Burns this year is only 2-3 wins.

By the way, Rob Lewis said today that the staff is not super confident due to Blackshear leaving his visit and immediately scheduling two more visits.

According to VT Rivals guy, the plan was always to explore all possible options before making a decision. I get how not shutting it down after the visit doesn't look good for us here, but seems as if Blackshear is just following his original plan.
