2020 Presidential Race

Yes, a substantial rebuke of what Trump symbolizes.
Do you need the accomplishment list again, or can you simply not see what is before your eyes other than your blatent disdain for a man that 'offends' you? Just a few for you though: Taxes are down. MY taxes. Unemployment for blacks and women at historic lows. Dialog with NoKo open. ISIS? Whodat? THere are lots more.

But I get it. Orange man bad.

Well at least you included the reason he's being rejected ..OMB.

AOC warns of 'very real risk' of Trump win in 2020, says frustration with Pelosi is 'quite real'

In her first Sunday morning show appearance since taking office in January, New York Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez warned that there is "very real risk" President Trump will win re-election in 2020, and acknowledged that progressive frustration with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is also "quite real."

The comments struck an unusually defensive tone for the 29-year-old progressive firebrand, as Democrats seek to winnow their large list of 23 presidential contenders. Ocasio-Cortez also spoke bluntly on her initiative to repeal the Hyde Amendment, which bars most federal funding for abortion -- and 2020 Democrat front runner Joe Biden's abrupt reversal on the issue earlier this month.

"I think that we have a very real risk of losing the presidency to Donald Trump if we do not have a presidential candidate that is fighting for true transformational change in the lives of working people in the United States," Ocasio-Cortez told ABC News' Jon Karl on "This Week" Sunday.

"I think that if we elect a president on half-measures that the American people don't quite understand -- the agenda of a president, you know, that says we're fighting for higher wages but we don't want a $15 minimum wage, fighting for education but we don't want to make colleges tuition-free, fighting for women's rights, et cetera, but we don't want to go all the way with that, then I think we have a very real risk of losing the presidency," Ocasio-Cortez continued.

President Trump will win reelection and the Democrats will force Senile Nancy to fall on her sword. I think the Republicans regaining the majority in the US House of Representatives will doom Senile Nancy also.

The rise of Elizabeth Warren spells bad news for the Democratic Party

Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren has recently surged in the polls, achieving double-digit numbers for the first time since officially announcing her candidacy in February. Indeed, Senator Warren has solidified her position as one of the five top-tier candidates who have managed to distinguish themselves from the other two dozen candidates vying for the Democratic Party's nomination. The group of five front-runners includes Senator Kamala Harris, Senator Bernie Sanders, Mayor Pete Buttigieg, and former Vice President Joe Biden.

Put simply, Warren’s momentum spells bad news for the Democratic Party. The Massachusetts Senator has centered her candidacy around far-left, big-government policies that once appealed only to the leftmost fringes of the party. To be sure, Warren’s recent surge in the polls is indicative of how far left the party has moved and suggests that the party will nominate a radical candidate who is unpalatable to independents and moderates, two groups essential to beating Donald Trump.

Well, basically, the commentators (both the guy who introduced the segment and Tucker Carlson) were very critical of Abrams for appearing to be entitled. Her "trashing" of Biden, was over his suggestion that she might make a good running mate. Abrams called this potential offer "insulting". Biden isn't the one coming away from this video looking like an idiot... the idiot here, is clearly Abrams, with the only valid criticism of Biden being, that he ever considered her as a running mate in the first place.

If Biden wins the nomination, he needs to stay as far away from Abrams as possible.

Let's not overdo it now.... she did graduate from Yale Law School.

Abrams does appear to be shockingly full of herself. I am still trying to figure out how she was in position to almost be governor.

But I agree there is nothing wrong with being self made and we all have a beginning. There is a person here in Nashville that is self made and would make a great mayor- she goes by the name of one Carol Swain.

I want to point out how that first tweet, cites yet another poll, but because it says something favorable for him, Trump has no problem with it. Keep that in mind the next time that Trump says that polls are meaningless and just more "fake news". Regardless of what he says, it's obvious that Trump spends a good part of his day reading poll numbers (in between watching Fox News and sending tweets).
