I was curious about the talent rating of running backs in the SEC and how efficient they were against SEC defenses.

The 3 teams that I know struggled with their offensive lines last year (AU, LSU & UT) ended up ranked in the bottom half of the conference for running efficiency (yards/attempt). The talent ratings are from the 247 composite.

Why would anyone find this interesting? Have I mentioned that Florida lost 4 multi-year starters off their offensive line from last year and 7 of their top 8 rotation? Well, they did, but not only that, they also lost their most efficient running back from last year.

I’m figuring if we can significantly reduce the number of times our line permits Chandler to get tackled before he even gets back to the line of scrimmage his average will go up by maybe a yard per carry. If, and I may be dreaming here, our line can actually open some holes on a consistent basis, Ty could jump much closer to the top of this list for 2019. Ty was the highest rated 4-star on the list but running the football in the SEC is not a one man game. jmo.

Someone said VQ was suggesting 3 commits by the 28th. That's what has me itching!

Edit: it was VoluptuousBooms.
They said it on there podcast. They were really talking heavy about the in-state trio. Almost feel as at least two of them will pull the trigger and then they are planning on someone else committing before the end of the month but could be all three.🤔🤔🤔

Happy Father's Day to all the dads, hope your day is special.
