That is great! I am so glad you are having some good days and are posting so much. I have enjoyed your posts!I have 20mg oxycodone and 30mg morphine. Been on them for a year, alternating. But just had 3 pain free days and didn't touch either one. No side effects, desire, "withdrawal", nothing. Heck, didn't even feel any different.
Yet, I can't go a day without reading VN.
Sorry, just struck me as funny. Carry on.
Good to go boys. St Simon's since yesterday. View attachment 209116

I know several who became addicted to hydrocodone when given them after surgeries/chronic conditions. They didn't drink or mix with other drugs. Certainly didn't want to become addicted or plan on it. Also know several that took them and mixed with other things but didn't become addicted. Always thought it had to do with the gene.At the risk of forum meltdown, I think the addiction/danger level of the other 2 has been greatly exaggerated.
Like my dr told me, *IF you don't drink, mix or have tendencies to abuse amounts, the only thing they do is make you hurt less. He was right, at least in my case.
Which if you ever follow up on the tragic stories on TV, the unfortunate person involved was virtually always doing one of the above.
Possibly. What I think it comes down to in the long run is whether u really like they way they make u feel or not. I did and lost control of about 3 years of my life. Probably not that simple, but in my case, it wasI know several who became addicted to hydrocodone when given them after surgeries/chronic conditions. They didn't drink or mix with other drugs.
