I have to disagree, anecdotadely on here and what we see from the world says he is right generally. It's literally the same thing from any other politician, or anything else on here. We have been so divided along partisan lines we see people jumping all over each other for nonsense. This is much more of a conservative talking point than it is reality. Making these claims is a method of deflection from the valid points of criticism that there are against Donald Trump, both of his character and of his policies. It is much easier to just fault liberals for being bitter, sore losers than it is to defend some of Trump's immature, egotistical actions and inconsistent policy stances. Though it is clear that there was Russian interference, I have never said that the 2016 election wasn't legitimate. I also feel that our democratic process should be allowed to run its course with the American people left to decide on November 3, 2020 if Trump should be removed from office.
I consider being a Trump "fanboy" as someone who gives unconditional support for him... and I really do see a lot of that on here - even more than what is typical from his core base of support in the southeast. It is not unusual to see a conservative on Volnation take it personally when they read criticism of Trump and they will often lash out with personal insults against the poster who made it. That kind of emotional investment in such an egocentric politician is hard for some of us to understand.
So, the guy with the best economy, the lowest unemployment levels, and the guy not piling up U.S. casualties is the worst President ever? I wouldn't call you a red hatter, but maybe a never Trumper, if that is your determination.I have to disagree, anecdotadely on here and what we see from the world says he is right generally. It's not just trump fan boyism, it's anything. Huff gets thrown in with the commies, 8188 gets called a liberal, many of us get called Trump supporters. People want to divide people up into groups they can understand and minimize instead of actually dealing with the argument at hand.
Just use me as an example. I think Trump is the worst president ever, until the next guy shows up. But I get called a redhatter fairly regularly for pointing out bad arguments. In the antifa thread, in a spread of about a dozen posts I get called a bootlicker, and a cop hater.
Everyone does it. I wont even say "both sides" as it would be ironic.
This Andrew Yang interview is interesting. It's two hours, so ample time for biography and policy discussion.
Spending, spending spending. Pretty much a one ticket item for me. Everyone fails, everyone makes it worse, but it doesnt make it ok. Until someone does something to address the issue they are all worse than the previous. So, the guy with the best economy, the lowest unemployment levels, and the guy not piling up U.S. casualties is the worst President ever? Do you honestly believe that Trump or anyone else will actually cut SS and Medicare? The Dems would probably cut defense spending, but would spend the money somewhere else. That is where cuts will need to be made because they are such a large part of the budget. Trump is no different from any other politician in that he isn't going to take the blame for taking away healthcare and income from the people that actually vote in big numbers. That would be the end of his political party.Spending, spending spending. Pretty much a one ticket item for me. Everyone fails, everyone makes it worse, but it doesnt make it ok. Plenty of other stuff I dont like.
Economy has tariffs and bailouts. Stemming from the tariffs. So it's not that good.
Unemployment is good, but that's mostly staying out of the way. But props to doing that.
Pretty sure we still have service people dying all over the place. Props to not making it worse, but that can change quickly. Not decreasing spending here, and still got guys like Bolton sniffing around.

You don't like Trump. That's already a well established fact. What's not been established is why you try to take Trump to the woodshed while you ignore any questionable behavior from Democrats? It's called bias, and that's the lens you see Trump through. I agree he lacks decorum and needs to stay off Twitter, but he's not as unlike other Presidents as you want to believe.

And thus he is part of the problem. I share no affiliation with either party. They all suck. And this is the single biggest item they all suck on. SS is self funded, for now. Doesnt need to be touched. Most of the rest comes out of the general tax funds. Anything that does needs to be looked at.Do you honestly believe that Trump or anyone else will actually cut SS and Medicare? It also bothers me that no one steps up to claim ownership. Which allows things to slip as in your analogy. I dont really cared who messed it up. I just want someone to fix it.I agree with a lot of this.
Sometimes the US today feels like it's only still standing where it is because of the work put in by previous generations. Take a man that creates a business and does well. He then passes it on to his son who expands, grows, and makes it much more successful. He then passes it on to his son who runs it poorly, spends excessively, and makes poor business decisions. It still functions but only because of the hard work and effort put in by the previous generations of owners.
That's what today's US govt functionality often feels like to me.
