This is much more of a conservative talking point than it is reality. Making these claims is a method of deflection from the valid points of criticism that there are against Donald Trump, both of his character and of his policies. It is much easier to just fault liberals for being bitter, sore losers than it is to defend some of Trump's immature, egotistical actions and inconsistent policy stances. Though it is clear that there was Russian interference, I have never said that the 2016 election wasn't legitimate. I also feel that our democratic process should be allowed to run its course with the American people left to decide on November 3, 2020 if Trump should be removed from office. The problem with our more leftist posters is if you don't agree with them, you're a Trump fanboy. You don't have to even like Trump to be a fanboy. You can just believe he won the election fairly and that earns you their scorn. Disagree that he's done anything to deserve removal from office? You're a fanboy. Disagree he's the worst ever? Fanboy. Unless you're constantly bashing him and screaming for impeachment, you're a Trump fanboy.
At least that's the picture they tend to paint.
There is a whole lot that you don't understand. That is why you folks lost. This is much more of a conservative talking point than it is reality. I consider being a Trump "fanboy" as someone who gives unconditional support for him... and I really do see a lot of that on here - even more than what is typical from his core base of support in the southeast. It is not unusual to see a conservative on Volnation take it personally when they read criticism of Trump and they will often lash out with personal insults against the poster who made it. That kind of emotional investment in such an egocentric politician is hard for some of us to understand.

In terms of decorum? I strongly disagree. We have never seen anything close to his level of immaturity, pettiness and insecurity. His twitter feed proves that almost every day. He also sided with Putin over the word of his own DNI, just because he didn't want the perception to exist that he had received assistance from the Russians during the campaign. That is pure egotism. He also stubbornly kept the government shut down for over a month just because he didn't want it to appear that he had given in to democrats on his border wall (which he had two years to fund with a Republican Congress). And what did that gain him in the end? Not s***.It's a two way street. Yes, there are some who think Trump can do no wrong, but you ignore there are some who think Trump can do no good. He's no different than any other President despite the narrative some love to perpetuate. And when you try to point that out to some of the more liberal posters, you also get called names and given labels such as "fanboy" or "Trumpkin".
For some of us it's not about choosing a side between the left and the right so much as it is in supporting the result of a lawful election. I'll admit I'm glad Hillary didn't win, but I'm not happy Trump won. I wanted better choices but neither side provided that. But someone had to win and it was Trump. And all the left has done since then is look for ways to undo the election. It's a political coup that those on the left keep trying to defend. Just do it the right way. Win the next election. And if you don't, accept it and look toward the election after that.
And not to play whataboutism, but do you believe there aren't Democrat politicians that have received the same type of unconditional support you claim Trump receives from some conservatives on here? Absolutely they did. Plenty of people willing to let politics cloud their vision. Some of us just choose not to wear those blinders.

Sorry, but Trump's behavior is not the norm.

It looks like you are defining someone "with balls", as being someone who is childish, insecure, petty, obnoxious, vindictive, egocentric and hyper-sensitive to criticism. Those are definitely not attributes that the average person would describe as being "masculine" or "tough".Having a President with balls is refreshing.
It is rather lame.

Are you on acid because we're seeing two different things apparently?I've seen all the Dems on this board at least a few times say Trump did fine with something, or agreed with him on something. But there are plenty of pro-Trump acolytes on the board who simply refuse to even hint that he isn't what he purports to be.
