His Dad was on local radio today. They said they had a figure in mind and had decided that if a team couldn’t get close to it, then they would turn it down. I believe that figure was 2.75 because it would set him up for a decent living for about 20 years if he never got another big payday. At least the family had done some planning.

I don’t believe a day 3 pick gets close to 1.8 plus a minor league salary. But the point still stands.

You’re painting with a broad brush. I only wish Jaydon Hill would re-tear his ACL.

I mean, I wouldn’t shed a tear if our opponents got riddled with injuries before we played them.... but Jaydon is the only one I got my fingers crossed for.

Why does everyone take everything so literal now days. When I said everyone I didn't intend on it being taken in the sense that every volnation member was against me. Only that the only ones commenting on my post were and I think only 1 person liked my quote.

I know their are others with the same sentiment as I believe you may be one of those. Seems we have common opinions often.

In all seriousness though, I will debate with negative opinions and mess with people who seem like trolls or just have awful takes, hank, but there's been plenty of times when I've defended negative posters, and hank, because the optimistic pessimistic balance is what makes the board great. Even when I completely disagree with them. Hell, catbone is one of my favorite posters. But the "I was the only one telling y'all we should be worried and everyone attacked me" thing is what I was giving you ish about because it's an overused complaint by posters who tend to always respond to any positive posts with negative or sarcastic replies. Then act surprised when people try to convince them it's not as bad as they think. Not saying yer always negative, just that post could have been copy and pasted from any number of normally negative posters.
