Yeah, not sure about top end speed, but dude is pretty athletic and has a quick first step. Maybe more quick than fast.

Then Chaney went for Fields. Now King. A trend to be sure.

Don’t trends happen more often? Wasn’t Fields the number one recruit...even over Trevor Lawrence? Think Chaney shunned Lawrence? I think this is fan fiction. The meat of Bailey’s recruitment, UGA has Fromm AND Fields. I think it was mere reality that made it look like Chaney wasn’t pressing for a dude to stand in that line. All this talk is fan fiction.

Do I take guaranteed dough and a foreseeable couple of years traveling on a AA team bus as I hope to make my break?

Or do I live the 'fun' college life of being a DB at LSU (which has been DBU recently as much as Bama), and have a better shot at higher money even as a Day 3 pick three years from now?

Agreed.

Also, what’s the big deal of pursuing a Pro Style and a Dual-Threat QB? You can either sling it or you can’t and make good decisions or not. If you don’t do those two things as a QB you won’t start anyways. So let them compete. If Bailey is the QB he is scouted to be I don’t see any recruit coming in and beating him out if he gets the starting monicker.

One “inside source” that I’d buy this narrative on Chaney...De1Conley. Otherwise it’s bull we started hearing from Dawgies after we outspent them for our new OC and targeting our top recruit right in their backyard. Not saying Chaney isn’t hyped on King, just that he isn’t meh on Bailey.

That’s the word. Maybe it was due to their depth at the time or just mobility concerns. Our QB doesn’t have to be Dobbs but being able to move in the pocket and on rollouts is nice. I think King excels on the rollout passing.

Funny that I caught crap for saying Roman Harrison was the strongest player on the team coming in as a True Freshman..... and now it’s brought to light that it is true. (Or somewhat true, in the best shape is close enough lol)

Just had to pat myself on the back for a second. (Because some of the people on here think they know everything)
