I've been trying to limit my carbs to 20/day. I don't get hungry because I can eat a bunch of meat. I need to add the exercise in too. I think it would come off a lot faster. I am going to the beach Saturday week so I'm sure I'll put myself in peril that week. I'll try and exercise on vacation though.

I would wait a few weeks to start doing some exercise if I were you. Especially if you just started limiting your carbs. Your body needs to adjust to the new way of eating. Especially if you have been eating many carbs for years. When I started eating keto years bak, it took me about a month to feel .good enough to exercise. You really dont need to exercise in the beginning. Just make sure you are eating enough good saturated fat. Many times people start limiting their carbs and dont up the fat intake enough. If you limit the carbs, you need to up the fat to ensure you get into ketosis.

I don’t understand coachs’ fetish with putting your best OL at LT.

JJ did good at LG, LEAVE HIM THERE.... Trey Smith was the best RG we’ve ever seen, LEAVE HIM THERE. Coach some else up to be good at LT

With Smith it was a special situation. He was our best OL by a wide margin. The staff knew that with a right handed QB, the blindside is the left. We didnt have anyone good enough to shore up LT. Typically a tackle will have to block the much more explosive DL. A guard would take on a bigger, slower DT.

I've been doing it for about 8 weeks.

Most QBs are right handed. DCs will put their best pass rusher on the blind side of the QB (higher chance of causing a fumble). So to counteract that OCs put their best OL at LT.

Great recruiting article by DylanVol I wont post it in the Football Forum. Dont want the others lurking over here with us. Lol

June Recruiting Preview: A Massive Month for the Vols

This is what stood out in the article.

"Offensive skill players Darrin Turner and Elijah Young both have Vol offers but right now aren’t being heavily recruited by Tennessee. That could change if either or both of them showed out at camp. There’s really no good reason for Young – a Knoxville-area native – not to do so."

I'm not one to "hand" Wright a starting tackle job when we've yet to see/hear what he can do.

So here's my line (as of now) call it dream projections I guess cause I'm unsure Trey will play.

LT - Wanya
LG - Carvin
C - Kennedy/ R. Johnson (if Kennedy is 100% I think he'll be the best option with Carvin at guard)
RG - Trey
RT - Jahmir Johnson (would love Wright to beat him out so JJ can play LG though)

Coaches seem very high on Calbert and he's got monster size...I could see him in the mix for either guard spot, he'll definitely be in the 2 man. Niehaus and Tatum are good depth guys, but hope we've got better talent to start ahead of them. Would love to be able to RS Lampley, McBride and Chris A. so they all get a full off-season of conditioning and practice.

Why? He didn't say anything that hasn't been said on this board.

I've read that the pervasiveness of peanut allergies is due to pregnant women not eating peanuts. Maybe they should include some peanut juice in prenatal vitamins so we can put an end to this.
I am an example of this, every 7 years your body goes through a chemical chang. Where you might all of a sudden be allergic to something that u used to not be. When I turned 18 I started breaking out on hives all over. Took two years to finally figure it was peanut butter after doing the process of eliminating other foods. 2 benadryl everday made me sleepy but controlled the itchiness.

Now at 42 years old I eat peanut butter all the time. No more breaking out with hives either.

When Volnation starts a weight loss challenge, but you’re already at single digit body fat

FU but single digit bf is pretty impressive. I've been 178 with no abs at 6 foot cutting from 212 back when I was prepping for a show. Broke hand never made it. Was looking good again around 195 fractured back. Hopped off the gym/IIFYM for years and found beer. Need to find some balance.
