I've been trying to limit my carbs to 20/day. I don't get hungry because I can eat a bunch of meat. I need to add the exercise in too. I think it would come off a lot faster. I am going to the beach Saturday week so I'm sure I'll put myself in peril that week. I'll try and exercise on vacation though.

It was easier for me to eat healthy at the beach oddly enough. Any restaurant I went to I wanted fresh fish and I usually go grilled or blackened. Just avoid the carbs and you'll be fine plus get in tons of swimming for exercise :)

Yeah ironically that and the trend of avoiding giving nuts to babies the last couple decades. The earlier a baby is exposed to them the less likely they are to be allergic. And new studies are showing you can cure peanut allergies by slowly building up tolerance through exposure. Has to be done through a specialist with basically prescribed tiny daily doses that increase periodically.

I read having indoor pets can lower chances of food allergies in children too. Although I can't remember where.

Peanut butter has been a staple in my diet as long as I can remember. If my kids were allergic I was screwed.

I usually don't eat fried seafood. I'm like you, prefer the grilled and blackened. I do like some fried shrimp though. I'll probably eat some fried shrimp.

I'm going with my son and daughter along with their girlfriend and boy friend so I'm sure they'll have me hopping. Taking our kayaks and beach sports, volleyball and stuff.

i haven't eliminated anything from my diet per se...but at 1500 calories a day, you naturally find yourself eating better. i probably stay just south of 20 carbs a day, just because. and veggies...you can generaly eat as much as you want cause the calorie counts are so low, that helps with the not being hungry. eat a whole can of green beans or a couple cups of broccoli etc....and i'ts like 50 calories lol. so if you have veggies you like, eat a lot of em. and lean protiens don't kill you either. grilled fish and chicken you can usually eat what you want quantity wise....

anyway...i just knew i wasn't going to lose the weight on a "diet". i still eat what i want, but if i eat 2 giant pcs of pizza, well...that pretty much eats up half my day's worth of food........so i'm selective when i do that or plan for it and don't do as much the rest of the day.

Oh yeah, weight loss competition! Weekly weigh-ins (in the morning pre breakfast/clothes ;) ) and just report 'em here?

Can create a shared google spreadsheet or something?

I could see the pet thing being true. Exposure is the best way to not have allergies. I've never had food allergies but I hate peanut butter. I eat peanuts sometimes but the smell of peanut butter makes me noxious.

I’m down almost 10 pounds while doing Keto and intermittent fasting. Only been on it a couple weeks. Trying to lose another 10-15 lbs for summer. After I get down I’ll probably get off Keto but still watch what I eat calorie wise but definitely stay on IF. I stop eating at 8 PM and don’t start again until Noon the next day. Only an 8 hour eating window.

I worked with someone that only gave themselves a 6 hour eating window. The bad part was the window was while he had classes lol. He would bring a feast with him to school everyday. Lost like 20 lbs in spring semester

That’s impressive. Some days I struggle with the 16 hour fast but lately it’s been much easier. Adjusting to a 6 hour window and 18 hour fast, especially with his schedule not lining up, must have been brutal. It works though. Hardest part for me was getting used to coffee with no sugar or cream in the morning.

It's a way to jumpstart your metabolism. Make the body depend on the nutrients it gets from the food and not store as much.

Or he can play LG like last year...better.
Yea, he doesn't have the length you'd like at LT. His toughness is perfect at LG. Ideal line for me would be
LT- Wanya
LG- JJ
C- R Johnson
RG- Trey
RT- Wright

We could make some noise with that line up. And if Wanya whiffs a few times, no biggie. JG has plenty experience at taking a blind side hit.

I don’t understand coachs’ fetish with putting your best OL at LT.

JJ did good at LG, LEAVE HIM THERE.... Trey Smith was the best RG we’ve ever seen, LEAVE HIM THERE. Coach some else up to be good at LT
