Like asking 'would you shag 8 of the top 11 people you'd most like to get it on with if we can cut your junk off?' Just can't see how to get to Yes on that one unless I knew I was about to take the dirt nap.

Weinke, David Johnson & Friend are pretty worthless on the trail. Rumph and Rocker also but that wasn't a secret when Pruitt hired them.
That's nothing but message board rumor talk. No substance.

Also, it's funny how winning makes coaches automatically better at the recruiting part of their job. Vols win 8+ this fall and suddenly those guys you listed will become superstar recruiters for the 2020 and 2021 classes.

If weinke would’ve found something he liked he wouldn’t be here right now. Pruitt’s biggest mistake so far was trading Gillespie for weinke
I don't buy that for a minute. He demoted one of his best friends from DC to LB coach to get Ansley. Helton would have been fired if he didn't find the WKU job. If Pruitt didn't want Weinke he wouldn't be here today.

Edit: Oh and he offered Terry Fair a demotion to an off the field role. Terry left instead.

So, what'd everyone think of the Norman Lear thing Wednesday night? IMO, I thought All in the Family was OK, but The Jeffersons was great. I've never considered Jamie Foxx to be a great actor, but my goodness did he nail the George character, or what?

Why are you making up stuff about which you have no direct knowledge?
Its known that Rocker was let go at UGA due to his recruiting woes, and UF fans said the same about Rumph during his tenure there. What elite prospect has Weinke, Friend or David Johnson been responsible for in the '18-'20 class? I'll hang up and listen.

As long as you're hanging up, I'm good.

Our record didn't seem to hold back Neids or Kelly last cycle. Seems like Tee is trying to clean up David Johnson's mess in the '20 class. With Weinke we almost didn't sign a running back had Pruitt not personally taken on Eric Gray's recruitment. Take those horse blinders off

You know how you know guys are really good recruiters? Landing guys when you're NOT winning. Neids proved that last cycle and will probably be Tennessee's top recruiter this cycle as well.

Those are all still just assumptions. And based on your post above I guess we can say that Neids sucks now too, right? 2019 class was just a fluke. No huge commitments from him by May so he should start looking for a new job?

Recruits talk all the time about how TN "staff recruits".
You can say "if Pruitt or Nieds didn't jump on _____'s recruitment, we wouldn't have landed him" about anyone. It's a lazy take.
Not true, so far we've heard more about Osovet, Simon and Abernathy than a few on field coaches. Let that sink in

We hear about Sherrer, Friend and the others plenty. Guys like you just ignore it. We hear Osovet's name a lot due to his JUCO ties. He's our JUCO recruiter and the fact we're in major rebuild mode going after JUCO's is why we hear it so often.
