Serious question...those that don’t like LEO’s, do any of you claim to be sovereign citizens?

Nope I claim the constitution which public servants took an oath to uphold.

I’m sure not all law enforcement officers are bad but it’s like this. If you have a pit of 1000 thousand poisonous snakes and only 2 meant to do you harm would you jump in the pit?

Not cop related, but just an example of how things can get out of hand over the enforcement of a minor rule. This entire debacle started over a sandwich and ended with someone losing a book deal.

Do cops not have anything else better to do than this?

Ticket writing mfers... a waste of 10 minutes of taxpayers money.

I'm with you on this one. Chickens**t. And while I probably fall under your definition of "ticket-writing mf'ers", I usually sit on top of an overpass or in plain sight; rarely look at anything less than 15 over; and make liberal use of warnings.

In short, I give you every advantage. Stuff like that crap above gives us all a black eye.

Run 'em off, Ras. You'll get no flak from me when it's legit.

Plenty of dicks to go around here. Did the guy have the right to display his garbage? Sure. Should he? Absolutely not. The cop should have asked him kindly to remove it and moved on. It's about being considerate of others. I don't give two ***** about either of them.

I guess the way the cop on the other end of the phone just casually said "tow his s%%t" and lock him up is my major beef. These cops treat property and a person's freedom like trivial matters.

Even if the law was that he couldn't have it, there is no reason for arrest. He should have written the ticket and hashed it out in court.
