Three houses ago, tenants in the nearby rental house had fighting cocks in the backyard. The noise was incessant. The county agent stood in the street in front of the house. Shouting above the din, she told us she couldn't do anything because she could not see the cocks. She refused invitation from the next door neighbor to walk on their property to view the cocks in cages. Shortly after this fruitless engagement, the cocks were gone. Rumor of coyotes went round the neighbors. The tenants moved away within the month.
