I think Florida has recruited more talent the majority of classes but I believe there has been other factors.I know many people are fatalists when it comes to the Florida game this year but I can’t bring myself to concede that game. In looking at the recent history of our matchups I think a number of people would argue we should have won more than 1 out of the past 5. In an earlier post I stated that we have to beat Florida this year. The reason I think that is is if we don’t they are likely to develop a sustained recruiting advantage over us. It’s been suggested that they’ve always had more talent than us but if that’s the case then why are the games often so close? I think last year we were young and turned the ball over 6 times. The way we improve as a football team is we begin by beating Florida, this year. If we do that, I think we can take care of MSU, SC, KY, MO & VU. jmo.
Obviously, I hate Florida with an unbridled passion so I apologize if my obsession is annoying to anyone.

1.Our classes usually have been within 5 spots of theirs (often 2-3 spots) which is virtually a non factor. Except when so many from our classes leave or medically retire.
Last year's talent gap was very real.
2. Despite their poor coaching decisions, we've proven that ours can be worse. Almost like we were intentionally going
"I see your McElwain and raise you a Jones".
In the past, I never had the dread others have shown. Unfortunately, I'm more concerned now that they have Mullen. I believe he is a real coach that just needed recruits handed to him. UF is a perfect fit.
The unknown - Pruitt COULD end up being even better. The lines have been drawn, no way around it for several years.
Let's ride.
