Agreed. I actually think Infinity Wars was better than Endgame if we're honest...
Agree! But I’ll be honest, I watched endgame at home from a bootleg site. Quality and sound we’re good, but obviously didn’t have that theater imax effect. I just wasn’t a fan. Watched it twice at home actually. (Been raining a lot here, lol)
Can’t wait for the next 3 episodes of GOT! Was slightly disappointed in the wya got ended with the NK bc it was so far away from the azor ahai prophecy, but it was pretty badass to say the least! Now there is only a set of green eyes to close forever...

Lot more dead air in Infinity Wars. That “filler” addressed a lot of recall from previous movies that true fans appreciated not being skipped over. Cap’s decision at the end seems really random without seeing him see the love of his life.
My experience in the theater may be playing a role in my opinion of this movie.

Air was out in the theater and it was 80 degrees. 7 or 8 year old little girl beside me was sitting Indian Style and was pressing her foot into the side of my leg. My asking her to stop didn’t even phase her. Lady sitting beside Jr was giving a play by play account of everything going on for her friends that obviously had never seen any movie ever.

I just wanted it to end

I read about a theater in California that is trying to contact patrons to get a screening for measles because some 20 year old woman who knew she was sick and contagious decided her desire to see the movie outweighed the public health risk. Maybe we need to reinstate quarantine laws.

People are dumb. Ruins it for the rest of us...

It was long.

And frustrating

Like me with the Harry Potter movies and the first LOTR.

i don't hate Sweetwater, but there's definitley better. it's a good go to especially if there's no other options....

as for Charlotte, i really like Birdsong and Lenny Boy. OMB has some good beers, but it's almost too commercialized. though, kind of like Sweetwater, if i go someplace, and they have OMB copper, and nothing else, i'm drinking that.....

NoDA is really good too....

I'm late to this talk, but NoDA has a good stout I enjoy and Sugar Creek has a good saison. Lonerider up in Raleigh has a good heff I enjoy during the summer.

This was Bill Connelly's (Football Outsiders) preseason projection for our 2010 team. He was right; we did make a bowl game. The note perhaps worth pointing to though is the first red flag. That describes Florida this year, at least at the present. Another note was that play calling in 2009 on offense was a strength of our team. Who was calling the plays? Chaney or Kiffin? Of course our program retained some measure of the luster of success back then which at least in the eyes of some may have been somewhat eroded over the past decade..

Speaking of Crosby and VA recruits - who were those twins from VA we were recruiting (and maybe they were committed at some point)? I remember we were all ready to declare VA ours with Crosby, the twins, and Taylor. The good old Butch days of trying to dominate...Virginia.
Gaddy brothers. Signed with Maryland.

Breyon had 6 tackles as a freshman
Brandon had 2 and a forced fumble

Remember the recruitment of elite cornerback Isaac Taylor-Stuart in Pruitt's first year? He red-shirted last year on USC 61st nationally ranked pass defense after playing in 4 games and getting no stats.

Pruitt takes a wide receiver and an athlete and turns one in to a freshman All-American with the other close behind.

Isaac needed Pruitt. Pruitt didn't need Isaac.

Second XMen was better than Endgame.

I think the XMen movies are stupid as ****, too. Almost like superheroes 🤔

Yesterday I posted the link to Pruitt's interview on the Erik Ainge show. During the interview Pruitt recounts the recruitment of Deandre Baker.

Deandre is at a camp. Pruitt had never seen any film on him and he wasn't even rated at the time. He was 16 years old. After noticing him in the camp Pruitt pulls him aside and asks him how many offers he's got. Deandre says none. Pruitt says, well you've got one now. Deandre immediately says, "I commit."

Something was special about the kid because he went from mid 3-star out of high school to 1st round draft pick out of college. I think Pruitt probably knows what it is when he sees it. jmo.
