I will be in the downtown St. Louis area for two nights in a couple of weeks. Recommendations for restaurants. I am really interested in something "local" but have no preference regarding the type of cuisine. TIA.

Just wear all your Cubs gear and ask a local. I'm sure they'll be real helpful as friendly mid-westerners always are.

Glad to see more reporting on Barnes/UCLA.

I missed that.

Hate thinking about how well recruiting seems to be going and how well his recruits are doing in the NBA draft. Would rather think about reasons he should be fired so we can burn it all down and start over!

I hope we don’t take any more transfers. They will count against next years 25

They would have to replace either Harris or Solomon. They would have to blueshirt, like Harris or K. Solomon is. It wouldn't actually change anything numbers wise, just replacing one of our current blueshirt prospects, Harris likely.

No room left to add anyone without taking 1 guy out.

You ever hear anything else from GV?
I'd almost assume he got the job or still a serious candidate. You'd think if he was excluded, he'd be back. No reason not to if that were the case.

No need to change his screen name on here if he didn’t get job and out of loop. šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø. Maybe he was spooked by turn of events from last week. Me personally, I hope all this means, he got the job. I didn’t go on the tiger forum after the fiasco and maybe they shut him down to quiet fan stupidity. Anyway, hopefully all is well with him.

The way i look at it is: we had enough talent to beat auburn and UK...so we should’ve had enough to beat (or at least not get blown out) mizzou And vandy.

We have a mediocre roster so with good coaching it can win/be in games and with bad coaching it can look like it did against Florida, vandy, Missouri etc.

Missouri was at least as good as UK last year. Mizzou's 2nd order wins was 9.3. UK's was 7.8. Meaning mizzou was a bit unlucky, but uk was reeeal lucky to win 10. They got a complete BS win on a penalty over mizzou, so mizzou had them head to head.

Kentucky was only 25th by s&p+.

Tennessee beat out the likes of Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, Washington and Michigan in landing some of the biggest names in their 2019 recruiting class.

The Vols won another recruiting battle of sorts against the NFL's Oakland Raiders, at least in the eyes of head coach Jeremy Pruitt.

When the departure of safeties coach and special teams coordinator Charles Kelly created a staff vacancy on the defensive side of the ball going into Pruitt's second offseason with the Vols, he wasn't necessarily looking to hire a coach to come in and take over playcalling duties for Tennessee's defense.

It's what he wound up doing, though, when Tennessee hired Derrick Ansley away from his lucrative NFL role coaching the defensive backs for the Raiders to become its new defensive coordinator and defensive backs coach.

ā€œHe wasn’t available. We just went and got him,ā€ Pruitt said Wednesday morning during an interview on ā€œThe ErikAinge Showā€ on Sports Radio WNML in Knoxville. ā€œIt’s kind of like recruiting. He was the highest-paid DB coach in the NFL, so it wasn’t like he was looking for a job, but I think (it was) the opportunity, the relationship that we have.ā€
