You don’t think Missouri is gonna miss a 1st round QB? Lol
Crazier still that Titans fans want to sink the franchise just to keep him in the two-tone blue (at least the ones on reddit).
I'm thinking yeah. I read a write up for their guy at SDS post spring game and he seems to mostly be buying the hype on KB while at the same time pointing out that they only got to see him this spring against Mizzou's 3rd string defense. I kid you not. 3rd string defense.
I think they'll be somewhat different this year. KB is reportedly pretty mobile so he has a dimension to his game that may can make up for some of what he doesn't have that Lock did. I just wonder how he's going to fare without Clemson's roster to prop him up. I think they have an embarrassingly easy schedule so if they falter at any point and we are decent I'm going to feel better about this game. The general sense I get is they'll also have a below average defense this year.
Still funny to me that Goff and Wentz turned out to be the better duo. Everyone thought that they would be terrible lol
Agree. Them and the cowboys have some very tough (shouldn’t be) decisions to make now. Cousins basically set the market for decent QBs. Do you give mariota or dak 20+ million dollars?
There is a lot of smoke about Titans liking drew Lock. I think that would be an excellent pick especially with their current roster. Having that rookie QB contract tooI think Vrabel and JRob don't like any mid-late 1st round QB picks in 2020, which is likely where TN picks next year. Of course some guys may breakout or fall or whatever between now and then, but they may have seen something they like in Lock and feel that it's worth it to get him now when they should have a very good chance to do so.
Could all be BS rumors, but IMO they are actually looking to move on from MM due to many reasons, but with the caveat that he can play his way into becoming the long-term option with a breakout season this year. The drawback is that you could waste a first-round pick, but it's a decent move because it significantly increases your chances of having a true franchise QB.
I would for dak now because his price will probably go up significantly next year. His stats are remarkably similar to Russell Wilson through their 1st 3 years and only 4 less wins despite not having the legion of boom. His biggest problem has been coaching. And he's way less injury prone than Mariota. I hate the cowboys but could see him take a big step next year.Agree. Them and the cowboys have some very tough (shouldn’t be) decisions to make now. Always someone of equal value drops. Like my Bears with James Daniels.
Chris Long ain’t long for the Bears world so a fifth or sixth rounder for sure. Need depth with few picks but Pace does even better in the later rounds. Looking at the different mocks and draft guides, this is a deep interior OL draft. You guys have muy optionsVery true. Many a long face after waiting around and not getting the name called. Who are the Bears targeting?
With the Titans if Conklin performs, they have Kelly for the other G. If he doesn't, Kelly slides back out to RT and they have Pamphile for G who was injured and out for the season in September last year. Kelly has saved their tails several times recently.
Robinson has already said he will move back if the right deal is offered. Hope it happens. There are some really strong value picks from rounds 2-4 for the positions of need for the Titans.
