John Grisham books are rarely as good as the movies.

Also the Jason Bourne movies kicked the books arse. I got halfway through the first one, was like dang this is some dumb garbage. Another one is Forrest Gump.

Ugh...after this weekend going to be a long summer.

And unfortunately GoT has only 4 more episodes. This will be the summer I finally finish some other series I've neglected (hopefully).

No spoilers from me. 97/100. Captain Marvel did not ruin it, but 3 point deduction for some Captain Marvel moments I could have lived without.

Well she ruined her own movie so this makes sense.

The reinvention of Thor in Ragnarok was the greatest cinematic accomplishment since technicolor.

agreed. Ragnorock is a super close 2nd place behind infiinity war as my favorite of the series. it's a great movie..

Come on spoiler tag it up and tell me about it, I hate suspense, and read the back of the book to see if it's worth finishing. If I hate the ending, I just don't read it. I hate that I have no idea how GoT ends, and I hope I've not wasted 15+ years on what will be a bad memory and a bitter taste.

Speaking of captains, out of the movies I have been able to catch on TV so far, the Iron man trilogy, Spiderman movies and the others we mentioned. I saw 1 and most of another Captain America movie. Now him, I'm not that big of a fan. Movies were ok but the character itself, just wasn't my thing.

Man going to a blockbuster and picking out movies was part of the fun. And they had all the movie snacks and popcorn. Also, I guess I'm in the minority but I liked Captain Marvel. Wasn't the best of the series but definitely not one of the worst either.

yeah, and in the movie he is a her. i was skeptical of this movie big time. didn't see the neeed for another character intro this late in the game and screamed money grab.

but the kids wanted to see it.

i liked it a lot more than i thought i would. maybe because i had reall low expectations? but in any case, i was entertained.....

siap, but IM3 was the worst imo. i didn't hate it either. i hated going to bb to pick out movies w/my wife. we'd be in there for an hour. lol.
