Sometimes Seth responds to posts. I will report back if he does to mine. I asked if he had confirmed that statement with both parties. That's the first time that has been stated that way that I have seen. Like you, I don't care.

EDIT: Seth has not responded yet, but in dialoging with another poster he linked an article with a quote from Grant Ramey. Per that article there are at least two problems with what Seth states where it does not gibe with Grant's. Grant provided Barnes' direct quote from the presser that UCLA reached out first. The poster also noted that in the Ramey piece Barnes pulled away from UCLA first due to UCLA not increasing their offer to fully cover the buyout. Seth says the opposite in both cases with no confirmation, no direct quotes, nothing. Just says blah, blah, blah like its factual. Not the first time he's done that.

The best thing would be to wait till this season is over, then get HBO for one month and watch the whole thing and then cancel...that way you can also watch True Detective season 1 and some other good content too while you are at it.

I don’t care either. We’ve had enough fan-driven drama around here to last me a lifetime. Let’s let this sweet 16 coach off the hook. We drove the last one out of town on a rail.

Yea, I understand it’s a different time. But there’s also about 100 million more people in the country now. That MASH number was nearly half the population.

There probably wouldn’t be much complaining about the first 2 episodes of GoT if it were a 10 episode regular season, but it’s a 6 episode final season. Folks love the show but now we’ve got only 4 to go and it feels like we’ve wasted a smidge of time here. It’s not a perfect show but it’s better than most.

Now, when it’s gone there will be a vacuum. Can it be filled by The Black Company? It’s being filmed right now supposedly. If Netflix or Prime picks it up then I’ll be excited. If it is aimed for the CW then shoot me now.

Rebuilding for us is getting back to the top?
The more you win, the easier it is to get recruits. The tougher the competition, the harder to win?
Sounds like "tough" was fairly accurate to me lol.

Well yes when you look at it that way. Pruitt started about as well as you should expect, considering what he was dealt . And as a program we should stay in the top 4 in sec. With the coaches we have that shouldn't be a problem.

Yeah, seeing zero TN players projected for the draft. 1 if KP is taken late. But it reminds me of exactly what Pruitt was dealt to take on the SEC.

Jones had all top 20 ranked classes except his first, including 2 top 10.
Yet, we are likely to go 3 out of 5 years without a drafted player. Incredible stat itself.

Also considering how much more expensive HBO is than basic cable and network TV. I wonder if there's numbers that account for that.

I hope Amazons "Wheel of Time" is good...I love that series way more than ASoIaF.
