Dead horse meet JG effectiveness discussions.

4-8 and 5-7 records indicate QB and many other problems. Let's see what happens this season with a professional OC.

Tis the dead period. Baseball and JG. It's going to be a long summer! Better get some BBQ and outdoor concert discussions going at least by June.

The masses perspective:

Team stinks: all the qb's fault
Great Team: qb play is the only reason

Stupid if you ask me 🤷🏾‍♂️

Predictable response. Discount the first 8 games that don't fit yer narrative and only count the few that do without including any context of the ol depth breakdown and the gameplan to account for that limiting opportunities for success in downfield passing. You sir are a pillar of objectivity.
Not discounting anything but when you’re talking about takeaways from the season, i think it’s important not to leave out a quarter of the season too. Always a pleasure sleeg

Toll climbs to over 200 dead in Sri Lanka. I feel bad for that place. A traditionally Buddhist nation that has let many outsiders in and welcomed them. Pisses me off religious wars still being waged by nutjobs, especialy in places it has no place in. That place has been through enough.

On Easter Sunday. Wish I could express how I feel about the situation but I would be perma'd.

nb4 please do

For whatever reason CFB Film Room cut off after 8 games this year, for all teams. So yes good games vs uk and charlotte, an absent game at mizzou, and a shiz game at vandy are not there.

To be fair, dude did NOT look right vs Vandy. Saw a few commetators mention this. He looked the same as he did after they tried to force him back in vs Mizzou - like his bell was still rung. Reminded me of seeing poor Worley's eyes just wandering and looking lost.

It doesn't take much intelligence to understand. One of the more simple, straightforward sports. It does take a great deal of commitment to a lack of entertainment to watch.

I get that some people love it but I don't have time in my life to pay attention to something that provides very, very little excitement.

If I'm going to take time away from paying attention to my wife and kids it better be something I'm passionate about or that they can enjoy with me.

It is the sport of generations that didn't have as many entertainment options and had more time on their hands.

In person you can see the strategy of holding runners with the SS and 2b man moving and the cat and mouse with the batter and pitcher and catcher and runners trying to steal and relay signs. Also, watching signs from coaches to dugout ect. I understand just wanting to sit back and not have to think and be entertained hence it’s a game for people with a mentality of trying to learn and understand things within the game. Does not mean you are stupid if you don’t enjoy it. Just means you don’t want to think about it to understand the great intricacies of what is actually going on.

Well said and I get why you and others love it....I did as a kid. I think you are right about the fact that having some sort of emotional attachment to the sport usually determines continued fandom.

I didn't have any attachment to hold on to when life got busy. I bonded with my grandfather about UT football and that stayed with me.

Now, if my son or daughter suddenly became passionate about baseball then I'm sure that I would find reasons to appreciate it again and would make time for watching and going to games.

Watch Acuna. Joy to watch. Ball sounds off the bat like someone else I remember. Hammerin Hank.

You got it man. And to all those who have posted their health struggles on the board and for all the others who are having health issues, family or personal issues, etc, my prayer is that all of you find comfort, healing and/or solutions for all issues and, by all means, look up and keep your sights on the one healer who conquered the grave and death! Have a wonderful and blessed Easter to all of our volnation family!
Well said. May God richly bless you and yours...

Baseball games and the seasons are too long.

Cut the game to 7 innings and if tied after 7, extra innings only to the 9th and count it as a tie after 9 innings.

Shorten the season to 100 games and add 2 additional wild card berths in each division.

Makes the regular season games more meaningful and keeps more teams in the playoff race longer. More fan interest.

I do think they could or should cut back to 154.

Well said...It is a beautiful sport. And that time argument is garbage.

Everyone stop talking about everything else! This is OUR Reggie Cobb!!! I just scrolled through and saw this and googled the news. Someone please post what Louis Reddick tweeted, very kind words for our Vol legend.

This is a sad day.
Oh man...that sucks...I did not think it was our Reggie the way he posted that.

Rest in peace Reggie Cobb 😥 Another piece of Volunteer Nation and my youth gone.l 🥺
