You realize Al Davis is a crazy ole' coot, who hires anyone. Look at the Raiders records the last 10 years. He had no HC qualifications prior to the Raiders as far as i know.

Being a great college OC does not mean you're going to be a great Pro HC.

Being a great Pro OC does not mean you're going to be a great college HC. IE Charlie Weiss.

I think he would be an awesome OC for UT, HC would be a pretty big gamble.

But I think Clawson will be a great OC for our team if we get Crompton out of there though.

I can't help it...I'm on the Bronco Mendenhall bandwagon.

I say "Amen" to that. I saw some stats about the guy that are impressive. Something like he hasn't had a top 75 class in years, plays in probably the toughest non BCS conferernce, and frequently pulls off wins against Pac-10 teams.

The dude wins with nothing, so it won't matter so much that we are losing all of 2009 recruits!
