That, my friends, is obstruction. It is at least attempted obstruction.

Article I of Impeachment, right here.

Yeah, except not so much. It is not illegal for the president to think a SC has conflict of interest and should be removed, nor inquire about it.

"Navel-gazing incident #137 dismissed!" [gavel bang]

In May 2017, after President Trump learned from then-Attorney General Jeff Sessions that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein had appointed special counsel Robert Mueller, Trump “slumped back in his chair and said, ‘Oh my God. This is terrible. This is the end of my Presidency. I'm f***ed.’”

As the left likes to point out, Trump was wrong. Again!

Lol. So now, after a 2 year witch hunt they fabricated that yielded nothing, they should be judge, jury, and executioner?

They could have started an investigation whenever they wanted. They could have run parallel to Mueller the entire time. And yeah, when it comes to impeachment, the Constitution says Congress is judge, jury, and executioner.

That said, after telling us for years how Mueller was the man and was going to get to the bottom of this, now it's going to be a tough sell for Congress to suddenly say that he's been a Trump shill all along, and now they need to run a real investigation.

explaining why - same as when Comey explained why he didn't think Clinton was guilty or charge worthy.

they were not convinced of intent and the level of cooperation they saw with access to people, communications and documents - ultimately the investigation was not impeded (or obstructed).

Barr's press conference was entirely necessary, with very little to contest from an objective standpoint.
