Mueller Report Imminent

He called McGahn at home to get him to fire Mueller. McGahn refused as it would have dragged him into another Watergate situation.

That is pure attempted obstruction of justice.
This is what legal counsel is for, to advise presidents on matters of legality and keep them unimpeached or out of jail. Sounds like McGahn did his job.

"Taking into account the high burden to establish a culpable mental state in a campaign-finance prosecution and the difficulty in establishing the required valuation, the Office decided not to pursue criminal campaign-finance charges against Trump Jr. or other campaign officials for the events culminating in the June 9 meeting." Mueller's team explained, "The Office ultimately concluded that, even if the principal legal questions were resolved favorably to the government, a prosecution would encounter difficulties proving that Campaign officials or individuals connected to the Campaign willfully violated the law."

Main word “Willfully”

What was the explanation other than "we didn't think it did?"

explaining why - same as when Comey explained why he didn't think Clinton was guilty or charge worthy.

they were not convinced of intent and the level of cooperation they saw with access to people, communications and documents - ultimately the investigation was not impeded (or obstructed).

It means he's guilty.....It's Trump. He knew he was guilty. He even stated his presidency was over.
See this is why you should read and not jump on the media snippets. If you read the rest of that part of the report you would know Trump was saying he was screwed not bc of being guilty. He goes on to say these SP take years and make it impossible for a President to get anything done.

Yep and that was a joke for Clinton. She was clearly guilty of destroying documents.

Whoa whoa whoa. Don't go trying to bring context into this.

Delusional, but, what do you expect from people who live on this site all hours 24 hours a day, everyday, and weekends, almost as if their whole existence both socially and personally was solely here, and away from the reality that is their lives offline. Yoda says "Living in a bubble these idiots are."

Dressing it up with more words doesn't change that he didn't believe it rose to the level of obstruction or the attempt to do so, which appears to be subjective. Hence why people are pointing at a trump appointee polishing trumps nuts while attempting to appear unbiased. You do see where the eye rolls are coming from, right?

I do see where they are coming from. Having the PC prior to the release wasn't the best idea.

I also see where no matter what he says people attack rather than accept they were wrong.
