Ok? So, UGA has been named NC 6x and can claim 6 (27 42 66 68), but they only claim the 2 (42 80) consensus titles like UT did until recently (51 and 98).

If Tennessee used Bamas system to the fullest, Tennessee could claim quite a few more than 6. Really about 4 of ours are legit, only 1 if UGAs is.

Ga has better recent success because we’ve been down. TN has better all time success. More wins, more championships, more recent national title, etc.

TN has one of the most storied programs in history, easily top 10 imo. The similarities between the two are actually close. UGA is only now 19 wins behind TN all time for 10th place. They are tied for wins against each other, tied in SEC conf championships. UT leads in NC and UGA leads in bowls, bowl wins and %.
Again, UT is one of the best ever, just found it odd he put down UGA’s history as if it wasn’t somewhat comparable.

Meanwhile, 5 years ago who would have thought that Clemson would be the juggernaut they are and would have 2 national championships over Alabama. Literally nobody. When Alabama sucked before Saban who would have thought they would be dominant like they have been? Literally nobody. Tennessee is a better program than Clemson. No argument from me on that, Alabama has enough history to claim consensus titles but not sure what contends a ‘legit title’ anyway, none of them were won on the field until recently and it’s biased as well to an extent, I mean, Yale has 27 NCs...

Tbh im not sure what he was paid before but personally to be a top 3 paid coach i expect final 4s and conference championships.

Not saying he can't do it, but it just isn't likely. That has got Koepka or DJ written all over it. I think he has a better shot at Pebble and Portrush, he can grind a win out at those courses.

But that wasn't a function of any results.

It's because UCLA said he was worth $5m.
