UTProf - prayers for peace and healing offered. Do not know your beliefs and do not desire to offend. From my perspective, I know that He is worthy of my belief and has responded to difficult requests I have made of Him. Sometimes it appeared to not be what I needed, only to find out later that it really was.

It matters not your gender to me. VFL fan. That's the common thread.

josiah james is a combo and lamont can run it too. Are we not more worried about 4/5? Dont trust fulky, burns, walker much. Pember prob RSs, but hes a stretch anyway i believe. If TTU can get tariq owens and uk got that big bruiser, surely we can find a good one too. Barnes has proven we can compete and grad transfers want that, a chance to win big.

I mean Hall was just someone who came to mind cause I felt like Avery wasn't great at coaching up his talent.

Hall was a heavy double-double flirt all season 10.4 ppg, and 8.8 rbg...he had some low minute games where he really didn't produce but for the bulk of the season he was good for at least 5 rebounds. Also didn't foul out in a single game, so I kind of think Barnes & staff could get a bit more from him. And even if they don't bringing in 10/8 would be solid.

Assuming the information 247 has is accurate for their TransferPortal a few names I see that jump out to me

Jahvon Quinerly 5 star would be coming from Villanova (listed at 6'0")
Makai Ashton-Langford 4 star would be coming from Providence (listed at 6'3")
Jaylen Fisher 4 star would be coming from TCU (listed at 6'2") - originally from Arlington, TN
Rayjon Tucker 3 star would be coming from Arkansas Little Rock (listed at 6'5") - originally from Charlotte, NC

Daniel Giddens 4 star would be coming from Alabama (listed at 6'11")
Joey Brunk 4 star would be coming from Butler (listed at 6'11")

i see your point, and probably overall, would agree. but bone will be missed. i like Turnver a lot....but the game flowed differently offensively with Bone running it. defensively, turner hands down....

that said, i do agree, 4/5 is probably overall bigger concern.

this is a huge off season for a guy like Walker...and Burns. i'm excited to see what both can bring to the table. James too.

i'd be even more excited if bone and grant came back lol.

I could be wrong...but if what I've heard about Pember is correct. He'll be the most polished offensive guy to come in under Barnes besides James most likely. I'd love if we had enough talent/depth to get a RS out of him, but if he's really as good offensively as people say I think he earns minutes sooner rather than later.

He lacks the same stars, but he's a Kevin Durant type offensive talent potentially. (I am not saying he is AS GOOD as KD coming out of HS, but I am saying he has the same sort of size and skillset...can shoot and handle the ball at 6'9")

i think next season it'd be nice to have some shooting you could count on, and run plays for. as good as we were offensively this year, it felt like a roulette wheel sometimes as to who was going to be the guy....especially when 1 or more of them was "off".

according to the last 2 pages, everyone here is assumed a male until proven otherwise? women are 51%, so surely we have like 5-10% at least here, somewhere. and like 1% trans. and .1% hermaphrodite or intersex/ambiguius genitalia. I assume the latter until one proves otherwise.

with Bone we'll have ELITE guard talent next season.
without Bone we'll have GOOD/GREAT guard talent next season.

Starter potentially at guard in 3 guys from day 1 - Turner, Bowden, James
Borderline starter/sixth man talent in - Johnson, Pons
Unknowns - Gaines

Bigs is a larger unknown/need. We've only really seen Fulkerson get real minutes to this point if we lose Grant. Walker only managed to see about 5 minutes per game and didn't play in 7 games at all. Burns & Kent have never seen the court to this point.

I view everyone on a message board as either a 7' under the bridge green skinned dweller OR a 10 year old xBox player who has been as prolific with mothers as Wilt was with women in his prime.
