16 NCAAT appearances
2 Sweet Sixteens
2 Elite Eights
1 Final Four, losing to the eventual champs
11 times losing in the first or second round

As a football-first school, that's about as good as it gets for us. If CRB could carbon-copy those results, I'd be happy.

With the way that Pruitt is building and for all the $$$ and time invested into football, I could definitely see a UT berth into the CFP before seeing the men's team go to the F4.

Honestly I hope he returns, cause the 2020 class could be VERY GOOD. Considering the 2019 class the potential next season is there to have another good year, probably win 20+ even without Bone if Grant & Barnes return. I think Grant is the only other junior who might leave early even if Barnes returns. If we lose Barnes though I'm fairly certain Burns & Turner will be gone, Bowden I believe stays he came to play for UT cause he wanted to play at UT.

Love CRB but not sure I want to pay him what UCLA is reportedly offering

If he wants the money and to move to the PAC12 and SoCal, be my guest

If he thinks he under appreciated here, wait until he’s playing Oregon State at home in January with 5500 fans in attendance in a 2 bid league

Doesn't seem to be all about money. UT is sweetening the $$$, but probably won't/can't match the UCLA offer. And UCLA is probably prepared to counter, so it'll come down to what Barnes really wants. Even if they work it out, Barnes and Fulmer likely will have an even more strained relationship going forward. More tension is the next-to-last thing UT athletics needs (the last being another coaching search).

I honestly think Rick fully intended to stay and finish his career at UTK. Our AD is overtaxed. When his agent said he's worth more than 3.5, he held UT's feet to the fire. Bad timing.

Still think he stays, but, good luck at Uklah. Next.... and a big oh well to you.

So somewhat apropos of nothing, did Pearl’s flirtation with Memphis lead to UT hanging him out to dry a couple of years later?

Aren't they about the same age...can't they go do some laps around the mall, then go to the coffee shop and sit for a couple of hours and then go get dinner about 4. All is well....
