Why? I'm guessing Barnes is not as squeaky clean as he appears, but Bruce is still not well loved in the coaching community and the NCAA would smack our non Blueblood azz hard.

I was watching an ESPN show Friday and the reporter actually said “can we talk about something else” when they talked about Bruce. Went on to say “he’s exactly what is wrong with NCAA basketball”

The truth is, if everyone thought he was wholesome, he would have been candidate for coach of the year and other awards.

At age 64 with my family being from North Carolina I’m going to be thinking about a really nice boat in 2-3 years from the job I got. Has program back on very solid ground and recruiting itself. Not a chance in hell would I look to start another rebuild at that stage of my career.

Well Wes, since you're media I'll help you think like an actual human being. In the real world people think about cost of living. As someone stated earlier, cost of living in LA is near double what it is in Knoxville. So they would have to shell out $8 mill+ for that to be appetizing (Phil will give him a raise).

I do agree! To me personally looking at Rick and then thinking of him coaching on the “west coast” just doesn’t seem like his style unless him and his wife are seriously thinking of vacation after basketball.i think he’s getting pretty close to retirement,a lot closer than we all have thought.plus UCLA has history!
