If the accuracy is off, what good is the statement? I don't want lipservice from a QB or anybody for that matter

I waited tables on the strip my first year or two here at college and never have I ever had a set of fans be so disrespectful. Pooring beers on me, bumping into me while my hands were full, trying to leave without paying tabs, making fun of me and the other staff members, and not tipping....seriously, even when Alabama and Cal fans were at the bar singing their fight songs at the top of their lungs, it was friendly competition...can't say the same for the Florida fans.
They need to earn my respect.
I don't respect Tim Tebow because he would go out there and play a team by himself if Meyer would let him. The very tone of his response ( I am sorry, I will play hard, I will push this team, blah, blah, blah) suggests that he sees himself as the most important factor to the Gators having a successful season, and while he may be right, a little humility goes a long way on the road to greatness.

''I'm sorry. I'm extremely sorry,'' he said. ''We were hoping for an undefeated season. That was my goal, something Florida's never done here. But I promise you one thing: a lot of good will come out of this.
''You have never seen any player in the entire country play as hard as I will play the rest of this season and you'll never see someone push the rest of the team as hard as I will push everybody the rest of this season, and you'll never see a team play harder than we will the rest of this season.''
In other words, "I am great, therefore my will must be imposed. The world must NEVER think Tim Tebow deserved to get beat."

And everybody may find this hard to believe, but Tebow is not the best player on that team and it's not even close. A healthy Percy Harvin is the best athlete on that team, he had something like over 250 yards of total offense by HIMSELF
to be honest, i think it would be hard for alot of people not to have a bit of an ego when you have already won the heisman, broken school records, and won a national title by the end of your sophomore year. he knows what fans expect from him, which is why you see alot of the "I" comments.
I guess anybody could put any kind of spin on it that they wanted to. All I hear is arrogance.
Its called being a leader. We don't seem to have any. Just a bunch of talent running around with no direction.
