well they were the better shooters before the game... Knew this would be a difficult matchup because of it.We got zero from the bench except for Bowden.
Turner was 1-9 from FG (1-8 from 3), Bone went 2-8 from 3 and even Bowden shot 6+ 3s...we fell into the trap of trying to play Auburn's game and not ours.
They proved to be the better shooters and won.
That's a take made by someone that didn't win a championship today.
I know what matters in the end, but I want to win any and everything available to be won.

It was a team goal and would have meant something to the team, the fans and the program. It's bad enough that we gave the game away, but to pretend that we don't care, it didn't matter and being co-champions would have been meaningless just demeans the effort.
