FPI had us as dogs in only 3 games right before the conference season started: at KY, at LSU, and at Auburn. It was right on the money.

It has been proven this season no one will do us any favors, so you can BANK on us locking in a 2 Seed. Period. Maybe for the best, who knows... I do know that we played like crap and that is VERY worrisome at this point in the season.

I will be shocked at this point if we can get to the elite 8....

It has been a very fun season to watch, but I just don't think we are gonna get it done in the tourney. I wouldn't be surprised for us to get knocked in the SEC tourney early. We peaked about 4 weeks ago and have been fighting mentally and physically to keep up our game since then.

I’ve never felt the regular season Championship was a big deal. It’s not what you play for. I want the Conference tourney title and the Natty. Basketball is a tournament sport.

Regular season championships are for baseball.

All this is correct, but I'm not going to get down on this team. Our 4 losses were to 4 really good teams away from home, and one was almost certainly affected by a biased official. And our biggest goals for this season are still on the table.

Officiating was terrible in my opinion but this loss, to me, is on barnes. Why on earth did we stay in zone so f'n long. They made 13 3's and I'd be willing to say 10 of the ones they made were wide open and it was apparent they were and have all year, gonna play the outside shot.

Zone is the best defense to deal with the 3...we kept sagging out of it trying to help on drives.
