I think it's quite apparent that firing Fulmer has reached a fever pitch -- and quite rightly so. I'll be the first to say I'm a little wary of this -- but not necessarily for the obvious reasons. I'm curious as to everyone's thoughts if this plays out:
Let's assume UT ends 8-4 or even 7-5; however, the Clawson offense begins to gain some enormous traction as it's further implemented (let's just be kind and assume Crompton picks it up). It becomes dynamic, fun to watch, and most important, you can see great potential. Is it worth risking losing Clawson, Drayton, and Scott to get a new HC or is it best to let Fulmer go and clean house? I'm assuming a new HC would want to pick his own guys -- and I think that's fairly common. I'm skeptical of cleaning house again when we just changed half our staff last year. Fulmer has a suitcase full of issues, but I want to see what the new coaches can do.
